SOLVED!: What's in a name?????? [s]

Hi everyone! I have been trying to figure out the name of this book for Yrrrsssss now! All I can remember is that the title of the book is something like What's in A Name??? The main character in the book moves and changes her name to Rose Sterling. I believe she only changes her last name. I also remember one part where she gets pregnant and she's trying to hide it with girdles. She mths later ends up in a woman's house who gives her a laxitive to induce her labor. Not sure why I remember that but that's all I've got. I'm guessing this book may be from the early 90's??? Help please! Thanks!
