Dhes, I know its a little early yet, but when are you going to post the All Things Summer Challenge? I've been tossing around a few ideas.
I'll be putting that up June 1st. It's going to be exactly like the others, Alycia, so no worries. You can plan away.

Count me in. I think I'll just do something simple like "Since June is the 6th month, I'll read six books that I have been wanting to read. (Still working on the "spring cleaning" challenge where I'm reading books that I have put off for awhile). I've got a couple that will be released the 1st part of June that I really want to read. So, I'll continue to read some that I have put off reading for one challenge and ones I'm dying to read for this challenge. :)

Instead of the spell the month challenge I usually do, I'm in for Dhes' Fly Swatter Challenge!!! I'll read and post whatever I can, whenever I can. June is a crazy month in my house. 3 kids, 7 swim meets, 2 a day practices and 1 summer camp! Oh and I forgot Vacation Bible School too!

Duration - June 1st - 30th
Ahhhh, June is upon us and that means the joys of summer picnics, BBQs, trips to the beach, camping in the mountains,
kids home from school,summer school for the wee ones, and it also means that it's time for June challenges!For those who know the drill, you can skip this part and just sign up. For the newbies amongst us, here's how it works.
These challenges are meant to be less restrictive than you'll find in other groups, and because you build them, they can be as easy or as challenging as you want.
Your book choices should somehow be tied to June, and whatever June means to you.
Some examples -

*Character or author named June

* National Outdoors Month
* National Adopt-A-Cat Month
* National Drive Safe Month
* National Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month
* National Iced Tea Month

* Zoo and Aquarium Month
Weekly Observances -
* 1st Week - National Fishing Week
* 2nd Week - National Clay Week

So you see, if any of these things are in the book you're reading, it qualifies for this challenge! Or ANYTHING else that makes YOU think of June. It's totally up to you!
You can post your list at anytime, and make changes to your list anytime during the challenge. See? So simple!
The only restrictions are that you cannot begin before June 1st and you must be finished with a book by June 30th for it count.
Please, post your status updates so that my old eyes can easily read them. Something like 4/12 or 1/3, or 3 down... just so that I can find them and update your stats.
