Top Lists...

Have you noticed that there is a new Top 100 list every time we turn around? Geez! It cracks me up a bit. I even noticed that on listamania place or whatever its called here on Goodreads they have one for the last century.

Now I am working on the BBC top 200 reads. http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/bigread/
its kind of accurate really. I heard it from another group. It has some really nice books.

What does anyone else think about the zillion different lists out there claiming to be the top reads?

I get overwhelmed by "The Best" lists. Many of them have books that I would put on the "Best of the Worst" list or wouldn't even consider reading.

I propose a best of books loved by Chicks On Lit.

And we force our list upon the rest of the world and sucks to their asmar and their stinkin lists.

I haven't read it since HS either. I do remember seeing the movie with Balthazar Getty and thinking he was so cute.

But cmon... what is more fun than to say "sucks to your asmar!" and watch people wonder what in the hell you're talking about.
