Combining lists?

Is it possible to merge two lists? There are two with the title Newbery 2012 and both are for the same purpose. Over the last few years this has happened a few times, and it dilutes the results (which many are quite invested in, and without hyperbole, I think it DOES influence sales/publicity, because there are prominent blogs that look to this list for suggestions of books to discuss).
