Vampire Academy question

Ian is not the right choice for Dimitri. I like Ian as Damon ♥. I guess, Ben Barnes would make a perfect Dimitri♥.

No... Just no. While I do like Ian Somerhalder, I don't think he'd fit the role of Dimitri.

Nah, I don't know he seems to 'badass' to be dimitri. I think more of a sweet guy, BUT can be badass.

Ok I know this is sad but I dont watch very much tv or movies really. But I had to google Ian and Ben, then I googled Andrei Andrei and OMG that guys is freaking hottt. I honestly think out of the 3 of them that Andrei fits my vision of Dimitri the best. And for my sake I hope like hell he gets the role. lol

I don't think Ian Somerhalder would be right for Dimitri.

He's already associated with one vampire franchise, no need to cross over into another one. I would rather see an actor that is relatively unknown play the characters from Vampire Academy.

I love Ian Somerhaler and all but i dont think the role of Dimitri is fit for him. I love Ian the way he is as super hot badass and sometimes cute and sensative Damon in The Vampire Diaries but i really can't see him as super hot Russian kick and badass Dimitri. And besides I've imagine Dimitri a little bit more differently. But who knows maybe he can wow us with his great acting.

Sommerhadler is both too short and too old to play Dimitri though he is beautiful to look at.

Hugh Jackman as Dimitri. They'd just need to make him look younger. But omg is hot.

I've seen alot of people putting Taylor Kitsch for Dimitry on blogs and stuff. But they also seem to be picking actors that are waaaay too old to play the other parts.

They keep say Odette Yustman for Rose who is about 29 I think. These characters are only 17/18! The only ones you could get older actors to play are Adrian and Dimitry and people like Mikial.

Personally I'd like to see Robert Downey Jr. play Abe. :P

Ian, no offense, is SMALL, his eyes are that awesome blue and anyway he doesn't look like Dimitri at all.

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Yes, he is maybe tghe hottest dude ever but him being of Vamp Diaries would ruin it for me. Plus, he doesn't look at all Russian and doesn't have the build Dimitri does. I think Dimitri should look slightly older than him. But compared to Ben Barns, you can sign him up because Barns as Dimitri would be just flat out awful.

I would die of happiness. Ian Somerhalder is one of my favourite actors of all time...plus, he is beautiful. As Dimitri, yeh, I might just drool through the whole movie! haha :)

Ian doesnt fit Dimitri AT ALL. He might have been good for Damon, but just because of that doesnt mean that EVERY vampire movie/show has to include Ian. He is an AWESOME actor dont get me wrong, but he is not someone who can fit Dimitri very well at all.

As much as I love me some Ian Somerhalder, I don't think he fits as Dimitri. An unknown or lesser known actor may be best, preferably one who has an authentic sounding Russian accent.

Ian will not be good for this , we need someone with long black hair and it is better to be some new actor because in this case we will love him as dimitri not some other boring charecter he once did .
