I knew there were some rumour about a movie, but only just found it out- anyone have any info, dates e.t.c?

There is no man out there that can amount to Dimitri's hottness. =D Ian Somerhalder is 100% hot but I always picture characters in my minds eye so vividly. No one seems quite right.
I really love Ian... But i don't think he is the right Dimitri...

NO.WAY. Ian just isn't the Dimitri I imagined. On the other hand, Ben Barnes could be more perfect for the rol. I really hope they pick him.
Yesssssssss, I definitely think that Ian Somerhalder could pull off Dimitri(he would just need an accent!)he can play his parts very well like in vampire diaries he plays a bad ass, but can also be very sensative....if he played dimitri i would be sooooo happppyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

No i cant picture Ian as Dimitri it just doesnt really suit him. Like Crystal was saying i think Ben Barnes would fit the role.
Ben Barnes for real, i can se him as Dimitri. i love ian but i see him more like Adrian, a carefree peson.even though ben has the looks i'm not sure he has Dimitri's toughness which ian has.
I say no beacaus he is Damon and will always be Damon the bad boy can't see him playing dimitri I love him as damon ;-)
I think that Ian Somerhalder as Dimitri would be Kick Ass. He's such a good actress and I just love him in the Vampire Dairies.
I hope there's no movie. :/ Movies always ruin everything about the books I read. How I pictured the characters, the scenery, everything.
