Hi guys, I'm Fiona and I've been blogging on Blogger for a few years, with the odd rant thrown in (because it is SO satisfying).http://fionafaithross.blogspot.co.uk/
I am also a goodreads author and I have finally (finally!)got my debut up on Kindle and Smashwords. Far Out is science fiction for teens (and grown-ups) about Saffron, a 17-year-old with russet hair, who has to make the best of life in dystopian 22nd Century Britain.
SF, techno and dystopian are my fave genres, but I also love vampire, especially classic vampire like Anne Rice, and classic horror like Stephen King and James Herbert. I will read all sorts of other stuff, too, from chic lit to mystery to supernatural.
It's good to meet you all. I have a pile of books to read (physical and eBooks) as high as a house and I am also finalising the second novel and starting the third.Fiona Faith Ross

Brill! Thank you, Char. I have to say, all credit goes to my cover designer. Although I gave her a clear brief that I wanted a portrait of Saffron, she read the book and then she came up with this design. I have to say, I was thrilled with her interpretation and she has made a beautiful cover for Saffy, with the flowers and the space junk.

Also glad you have introduced yourself now SKJAM! You're already in the Book Blogger Directory but if you know any other bloggers I don't (my list of book blogger buddies is unfortunately not infinite) feel free to tell them about it (you sound good at advertising)! I'll keep in mind that you could use commenters when I next decide to go on a comment love spree, haha! And lastly, just so you know, I wouldn't guess from your blog that you're "old"! :P
Hello Everyone! Happy Saturday!While I have been blogging on Blogger for a few years now, I just began my new book blog this past week http://authorgirlie.blogspot.com/. It is part author blog, part reader blog.
I am an avid fantasy reader; Goodkind, Rawn, Wies/Hickman, Eddings, oh I could go on for days. I guess that is what happens when your mother reads you Tolkien and Pearl S. Buck (editing out the saucy parts of course) instead of Goodnight Moon during your childhood :-P
I just release my debut novel, The Pull, through Smashwords (which I am SUPER EXCITED about!) and hope to use my new blog as a way to connect with readers and other authors.

My intent was to find freelance cover design jobs & illustrations but I have accidentally gotten so sucked into the books that I have not had time to post many cover examples. I am experienced in photoshop & design programs & can design one heck if a cover & I actually have slowed down long enough from the reading to post some if the illustrations I have done.

Welcome to Blogger Lift and blogging. I read your blog, I have to say that I find it disheartening that you say you might not carry on because you only have 2 followers. I had months of having no followers on my blog. It doesn't matter. Do it because you love it not because of a number.

Ha, I wish I could live in a German-speaking country for a year :P I have a German exchange coming up soon but that's not the same. I love German & I know a little Dutch (thanks to Rebecca @ Read Those Books) :P Anyway, why am I wittering on about languages? Perhaps I'm just saying I'm glad you speak English (and Canadian English is close- more than American- to British).
