Sounds like fun. Maybe we could expand our outlook on "new" to us authors.I do a summer & winter challenge at my local library. It's kinda cool my daughters & I have a personal best challenge during the summer were we beat our total from the previous year. We keep logs from the previous year and see if who is ahead by the end of July. The winner gets to choose where we vacation (within reason-choices hiking/camping, swimming/sun-fun day at one of local theme parks) the last weekend of August.
Sounds good. I'm taking the reading challenge on goodreads. Since March I've read 50 something books towards 200.

I was thinking of gathering nominations first, then the putting all the nominations into a poll and whichever is picked, is the book we'll go for. Sound good?

I was curious to see if there is any interest in reading a book a month together or if anyone would be interested in monthly reading challenges?
If there is enough interest, I'd be willing to host.
For those that may not be familiar a reading challenge would consist of a list of categories made available the month prior. Each person would pick their own book(s) to read that satisfy the challenge categories and post their progress and any thoughts about the books.
In my experience it's a really fun way to discover books that you are interested in and also a way to broaden what you read.
