But I love her main characters, a bunch of tough guy vampires who are really compelling despite the plot holes, repetitive boring sex and the contradictions.
Who doesn't love a man who dresses in leather and thumps the kraaapp out of the bad-guys? But they are so badly edited that I won't buy the new one. She is asking 15.99 for the kindle edition, and believe me it is not worth 2.99. This is not Harry Potter that we are talking about. It is a Twilight for grownups and that is all that it is, despite the minor cult following that is starting to develop. They are good, but I am going to wait and get it from the library unless the price goes down.

Connie, believe me, there are far worse series out there to read. Black Dagger Brotherhood is one of the better ones.

Loving Sue Maynard's book--she's part of this group!

Who says you have to like what others like? For more than 40 years, I read for escape from the realities of journalism and product publicity. Now I write more than I read and I'm experimenting with different genres including adventure, police procedural, time travel, historical detectives, etc. As to YA, I still have great memories of the Hardy Boys, so there. :-)
