June - Pick It For Me challenge
I am in! but I'm having a really hard time choosing just one...If I could find a Mysterious man in uniform drinking from a woman in period dress while she clings to another man that would be a must buy!!! however since I must choose just one this month I will go for...b. Dark Mysterious character biting someone's neck or hiding in the darkness I seem to be binging on Paranormals recently...
that book goes for huge money now though because the cover is soo butt ugly...haha!Tania wrote: "The best example I've ever seen of this happening is in Suzanne Brockmann's Tall Dark and Dangerous series. She spent the entire series talking about how drop dead gorgeous Lucky was. The sort of..."
I'm in and I'll go with Option D, even though Option B is a very close, almost imperceptible second.
oh, I almost missed this one. All of the above :p
I like a cover to look good, but if I have to choose....
B or D ok, fine B
I'm in and I'm definately an Option B (Dark mysterious character biting someone's neck or hiding in the darkness)!
That man's face is rather unfortunate. : |

Sign me up! I'm sad I can only pick one. It's a toss between Option B and D. Hmmm I guess I'm going to go with option D.
Usually I like simple covers that aren't overly harlequin-esque. I'm more of an A or D reader. I like paranormal romance but not so much vampires and werewolves, more of the different creatures that can also be paranormal. I like pretty much anything for erotica romance as well. More the military theme I like stuff along the lines of the nauti series or renegade/maverick/live wire series
I'm in too.I tend to be more drawn to abstract or nature related covers. For this challenge though, I'm probably more in line with A (Man in Uniform).
Tiffanny wrote: "Usually I like simple covers that aren't overly harlequin-esque. I'm more of an A or D reader. I like paranormal romance but not so much vampires and werewolves, more of the different creatures tha..."Which one would you like Tiffanny - A or D?
I'm in. While I like paranormal romances, if I'm choosing by a cover I'm more influenced by choice A, a man in a uniform!
I'm in and judging from my bookcase I'd say c, a woman in period dress (although my e-reader is much more d since they're harder to find in paper format!).
I am in. Medieval swordplay with hard bodied mages that turn into dragons and evil lurking in a corner seems to combine a, b, and c. I guess I'll go with c.
I'm in, and I won't lie and say that certain covers don't attract me, but I try not to let it influence me one way or another.LOL And I guess I will go with Option B, the neck biting, mystery person one!
I'm an A, but I would never read a book for the cover!
I'm in! Option C sounds about right!
I'm in and I'm a C. A cover will attract me but not necessarily turn me away--I do enjoy a man with a nice chest though.

Oh! I was almost missing this... I was on a vacation and didn't have much chance to log in. Anyway I am definitely in! and period dress and two guys and a girl are both influences so can't decide which would do better... Just choose for me and write me in one of them and save me please Tania :)
I'm in, I'm A or B but if I have to say which I choose more often lately its B but if you're short on names in A that's excellent with me too THX E
Can i still sign on?? !!! if so, im an A . I love creative covers... and hunks count in too! :P
covers are definitely catches my eye, but does not always make justice to the book.
thank you Tania. :)
Yay my first challenge, I'll join! I'm have to go for B even though it seem like I've been drowning in the paranormal lately. As for covers, I can be attracted to flashy ones but it's the book summary that holds the final judgment. I learned the hard way...sigh.

Omg! I'm so glad I double-checked on this....could've sworn I'd signed up already!! Count me in and I'll be an A.
Tania wrote: "ONLY 12 HOURS TILL SIGNUPS CLOSE!"yeah, excited here !
btw Tania, it's only Debbie (dropped the ~ )
I'm worried that I got missed. I originally opted in as message 58, but don't see my name under the sign ups...but folks after me are noted there. I'm still a D and would like to participate.

LOL, Tania! It's very early here in the US so I was going back to bed...I just didn't realize that the picks were posted! Off to check the front...no way can I go back to sleep now. :)
Oh I'm picking for Caroline again! Let me see what I chose for her in the past so I don't recommend the same books. :)

What a shocker!!
I had a funny one of Georgette Heyer's books - the couple pictured on the cover were not the main H/h but one of the minor 'sticks in the wheel'...
