I'm actually concerned, now that I no longer receive TV, that the quality and amount of news and information I absorb will be negatively affected. I have to actively procure news now, rather than sitting in front of the tube and having news programs wash over me. I just bypassed an article about pensions because I didn't feel like being depressed. But if that story had been on TV news, I would have listened to it passively.

I know where you are coming from LG. I get home too late to watch the news on TV and have very little time to catch up with it else where. At the moment I'm living in my own private little bubble, everything outside my private little world is perfect. Or so I imagine.

I'm picturing Gail inside a snow globe now.

That is a little too close to the reality LG. I rely on you lot to tell me what is happening. Everything is perfect in Australia.

Everything is damaged here, Gail.
