Don't get me wrong, I really love the book but that moment at the pool really knock my mind, I was like "you're kidding me, right?...Is that so normal for kids over there?" XD
What really surprise me was the change of the main male character... I hope I don't spoil anything (cause I read all 10 first books)
... I mean we spend a few book with Cal (and we were so in love with him) and later *puff* he's mean (we hate him now) and another male come along (we fell in love with him).
What the h*ll with that? I wasn't waiting for that

Most of us don't skinny dip by the way, we aren't half as cool as the teens in this series. :)

I haven't had the chance. I only read the first two before my mom made me stop reading them.

Why? Did she think that they were bad?

Yes, sher did. didn't like the idea of Wicca but I am convincing her that i would NEVER go into stuff like that and I just wanna know what happens

Yeah. My mom read them at the same time I did and she knows that I would never get into that kind of stuff. I'm lucky I guess. I can tell you what happens if you want but I don't know how much sense it will make.

No, I'm not surprised that most of the characters were interested in Wicca. If you think about it, horoscopes and mediums are a type of divination which is often linked with Wicca. Back in High School, I bought a cheap pack of Tarot cards (I knew that human Psychology played a part in it but I bought it anyway) and everyone I knew wanted a reading. I had a classmate who read auras and was very into crystals and people were interested and flocked to her to get a reading.
I still think that Wicca is very interesting and it interests a lot of youngsters and women as certain divination is surrounded with mystery and empowers women.
It's a mysterious and magical religion so why wouldn't people jump at the chance to do it?
As for the pool thing, I'm not really sure as I can't recall the scene at all. Again, psychology could play a part in it with the need to conform but hormones could have a lot to do with it. If they did some magic just before then it could be the reason why. It's said that energy from magic could also influence people's behaviour.
I've heard and read teenager who have done a lot more than jump into a pool naked so at the time, I didn't think it was such a big deal.
