Reverend Mauleverer is true identity of the evil pirate/slave-trader called El Diablo, The Devil. Debauched by an older boy at Eton, ordained as a man of the cloth at Oxford, the mild-seeming minister reveals to Purity on pp 424-427 that it was he who kidnapped her husband, led the Corsair fleet in the Mediterranean, took Purity into slavery and ravished her, and it he is who is the best damn cocksman on the planet.

Thanks, you've done a GREAT job planning this challenge. A few questions for my own clarity:

incest: does it include other characters in the story or just H or h? Would 1st cousins be considered incestuous? Step parent w/step child?

sold into slavery: does it include - sold into indenture? sold into prostitution? must be H or h only in the story? h won in a card game?

I'll let Jeanine make the final decision, but as for the incest thing, I'd say that the H or h has to be 1/2 of an incest pairing. And 1st cousins doesn't count IMO.

Well, I just read one that was anal, a historical erotica written in 2000's. I wouldn't say it is written in old skool BR style...the (H) is a horn dog and there is menage, but I'm thinking of this one primarily because of the rogering one of the characters got.

Update:

Since mod Jeanine deleted her account without a by-your-leave, all her posts vanished, and therefore her first post describing this challenge is gone. In the scramble of RL and other things, it wasn't until yesterday that I remembered this challenge and that an important part of it with the rules, etc. had vanished.

The challenge has been very quiet, but if anyone is still interested in continuing with it, I'll be tallying your progress. I'm indebted to both Wendy and Sharon for including the original list of "objects to scavenge" in their posts. Thanks, gals!
