Elizabeth | 74 comments Capitalist Revolution by Peter L. Berger, WorldCat says is America's old age crisis : public policy and the two worlds of aging by Stephen Crystal. Plugging the ISBN in to Google supports WorldCat, so I feel pretty okay about changing the GR record, but is there any way to tell B&N their data is wrong? I don't see anything when I'm viewing the record on their website.

Who says it is? Both books are from the early 80s, when accidental re-use of ISBNs was not uncommon.

Elizabeth | 74 comments Ah, I wasn't thinking of ISBN reuse *frowns at publishers (or whomever it is that's responsible for ISBN reuse)*

In the 80s it was largely an issue of lack of centralization of data. No WWW back then, after all! ;)
