If you have a kindle, there's a way to borrow books from someone's amazon library. You're welcome to borrow Long Hard Rideand Rode Hard, Put Up Wet if I figure out how its done.

There are references to previous books so those might not make sense to you, but the main story lines do not depend on reading earlier books.
