Kandice No, Jeane, I have not.

I did spend a lot of the weekend watching soccer though. Good news- my daughter tried out for club soccer, and...Got called Sunday evening. She made the highest team! I am so, so proud of her, but afraid of what a commitment this is going to be!

message 4885: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) euros are...a little less than an American dollar I think. ugh...I get confused.

message 4886: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I had my feelings hurt for a second!

What the heck is that price list? I mean, whatoculd they do to your hair to justify charging so much? Allison said a pound is about $2, so that is blowing my mind!!!! Can't you fo somewhere else Jeane?

message 4887: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) just kidding...a euro is roughly $1.20

message 4888: by Allison (new)

I feel like I'm handing over a foot or something when I pay $35 for a cut/style.

Oh well, I am not paying that! But I am very traumatised with hair cutting and so...so need to convince ma=yself and young girls chatting and having chewing gum in their mouth doesn't really convince me to try it out.

message 4890: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) LOL...and who gives a flying freak about gold scissors unless we get to keep them?

message 4891: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) when I went on my Europe tour, I had pounds, euros, and francs (aren't those the Swiss ones? lol). I was so freaking confused through the whole trip, I wanted to screw it and go home.

message 4892: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments And I don't want anything special and no stuff on my hair afterwards. I want them to cut it a little bit, make it a little bit thinner and that is it. I don't want to come outside and have a completely different cut than before! But they don't seem to lsiten to you.

mine is thick, doesn't go that normal long down hair like so many girls seem to have but it starts to go all sides. it is also dry hair and in the end it would like to make huge thick curls and go upwards instead of downwards..... I whish my sister would live with me or nearby. She can cut my hair like I want it even if she isn't a hairdresser...

message 4894: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments oh I hear you on that Fiona they always want to talk when I want to just think.

Also ever notice how when you go to the dentist and as soon as they stick some instrument in your mouth they start asking you questions? What is up with that how can I answer with someones fingers in my mouth. LOL

message 4895: by Kandice (new)

Kandice *hugs Fiona*

I had my hair trimmed this weekend. I paid $25, but never get the shampoo or blow dry. Not becaue I ownt pay for it, but because I HATE them fussing! I jut want it trimmed and get out. I can blow dry and shampoo my own hair.

I wish I would have cut it all of when I was little and be used to have a shaved head!

diner time for me to, which means cooking.

message 4897: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Every once in a while, I get one that's nice to talk to, but mostly, I'd like to sit quietly and just relax. I don't know those people. They always try to talk you inot expensive shampoo, cream rinse, brushes, whatever. The lady on Sunday, made me feel scolded, because she said I use my pony elastics too tight and am causing breakage. There could have been a nice way to say it, but she didn't choose that way!

message 4898: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I get my hair cut by a really good friend of mine from church, so I love going and catching up with her. She has two kids in high school, and she always has a ton of interesting stories for me :)

message 4899: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments Yep Kandice I have had the same thing happen to me. My hair is shorter now but I use to always have it up in some way and when I went in one time they told me I was doing all this damage to it...I should use their product to make it better etc... I did buy one thing of their product got home used it the next day and was sneezing all day. I was allergic to it.
Now I just say no thanks and continue with what I am using.

But geez Kandice, how could you be so irresponsible?
