Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments 7.24am...hungry. How can I be sooo hungry at this time in the weekend when during the week I am at work and get hungry hours later than this?

I am going to eat one of those starbucks cookies with white chocolate pieces in. notreally my favourite breakfast but I finished the fruit yesterday. so it will be that and a cup of tea.

message 4753: by [deleted user] (new)

Jeane I noticed that I get hungrier on the weekends. Maybe work sidetracks our hunger? I don't know.

message 4754: by [deleted user] (new)

Jeane: I know how you feel about coming back to 100's of threads. It's harder with work. Too bad there isn't a job that we could just goof off online all day on GR.

message 4755: by [deleted user] (new)

Very true. But some places don't monitor their employee's computer use. Mine does.

message 4756: by [deleted user] (new)

I concur!

message 4757: by [deleted user] (new)

I need to go as I need to get ready for Church. But I shall return!

message 4758: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) haha, my boss always threatens to start monitoring out computer use.

sure hope he warns us in advance :)

message 4759: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I stayed up until 3 this morning, I read 4 Stephanie Plum books yesterday! I was obsessed! I'd probably have stayed awake all night, but I only had the 4 from the library :( So now I'm starting Graceling.

When I finish this, I'll probably finish The Stand.

message 4760: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I decided to skip church, since I look like a freak that hasn't slept in days. :\

message 4761: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Graceling is good so far!

message 4762: by Allison (last edited Mar 01, 2009 09:50AM) (new)

Allison (inconceivably) FIONA! You have to add it to your TBR, I'm serious. Its really good! YA Fantasy? Come on. You know you want to read it.

I'm pissed now I only got it from the library, I'm going to have to buy it sometime, its a keeper.

haha, and I'm less than halfway done with it too. Maybe the ending will suck and it'll change my mind. ;)

and you know i can acyaully stay online the 20 minutes i am too early in the morning, my lunch...but I fele like i am there to work so I only go online minimum..

message 4764: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments I feel like I haven't done a thing this weekend, especially today. yesterday: stayed inside the whole time and did:watched rugby, was for more than six hours on goodreads, well actually tnbbc, read a lot in the end and watched soccer. Today...was for hours on tnbbc, went to buy groceries with my boyfriend near the house, watched soccer and that is it.... I had planned a lot for today....

message 4765: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I have done absolutely nothing except read all weekend.

Its been fantastic. :)

message 4766: by Liz (new)

Liz (hissheep) Can someone tell me just HOW this thread got started? Do Fiona, Laura, and Emilee live near or work together or have been friends since childhood ... or what?

And I think Allison and Kandice should have a spot in the title of this "firm", since they seem to be popping up with posts quite frequently.

I scroll through this thread watching Tweety bird, a ladybug, and a dog in what looks like a Shakespeare cap roll by ... ;o)

message 4767: by [deleted user] (new)

Liz: FIona, Laura & I dno't live near each other, I do wish we did. We had a day where we were all online and had a several hour converstation. The title should almost be

"Random Thought of Fiona, Laura, Kandice, Jackie, Allison, Rachel, Jeane and Emilee Thread"

But know that everyone is welcome to join in on our silly to serious discussions.

message 4768: by [deleted user] (new)

You know Rachel, its because we wanted to hit over 6000 posts.

But yes, I was off for like 24 hours and came back to like 680 something. I think Jeane came back to 800+ posts.

This should almost be a book!

message 4769: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) yep, just jump in! Thats what I did, the more you run your mouth the sooner they'll start replying to you ;)

message 4770: by [deleted user] (new)

I love it Allison!

message 4771: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) *ahem* I just finished Graceling, by the way. I'll probably push it on everyone unbearably for awhile....but it was fantastic.

message 4772: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) hehe...we wanted to hit 6000, now we're headed for 8000.

sad.

message 4773: by [deleted user] (new)

I think it's just you and me online right now!

But I think it would be dinner time for Fiona and Jeane.

message 4774: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) yeah, its 4 where I am....so that would be...10 for Fiona, at least.

message 4775: by Allison (last edited Mar 13, 2009 07:19AM) (new)

Allison (inconceivably) this has been such a great weekend of doing nothing, I'm dreading work tomorrow now.

message 4776: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) haha. Its time for me to start another book. yay!

message 4777: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) we had homemade pizza for lunch...so I keep sneaking more of it while I read, haha.

message 4778: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona wrote: "No pushing. I am immune to pushing.

Besides, I'm still busy pushing ICTC...!"

Its only a matter of time. You will read it. Someday.

Probably.

Please?

:)

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona wrote: "Allison wrote: "haha. Its time for me to start another book. yay!"

You read The Stand yet!?
"

Okay. Don't hit me. But...

I kiiiinda burned out on it a little. I'm taking a break. I'll finish it soon though. I do like it! It just won't be up there with my favorites.

message 4780: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I did read it too fast.

I'm certainly not saying I was bored or didn't like it. I'm probably going to give it 4 stars.

message 4781: by [deleted user] (new)

Allison where are you? We are in the same time zone. I'm in Illinois.

message 4782: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) aww :(

message 4783: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm glad your on Fiona. I didn't refresh my post so didn't see that you were on.

message 4784: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I'm in Kansas. :)

message 4785: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm am really enjoying PS. I should really be reading right now but I need to also do the GR thing.

message 4786: by [deleted user] (new)

We are getting close to 8000 posts!

message 4787: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I just went and grabbed An Assembly Such As This to start on.

message 4788: by [deleted user] (new)

I have to say that I feel really bad for people with mental illness. At church today a lady had a total melt down. I always knew that she had some issues but she had a break down and one of the other ladies at church is a therapist and had to pull her out. It was very scary and sad. I hope that she can get some help.

message 4789: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) That is tough to watch! At least she has a big group of people to pray for her :)

message 4790: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I like egg salad much better ;)

message 4791: by [deleted user] (new)

That is true. The hardest part is that my soon to be X husband hasn't seen my son in several weeks and in the childrens sunday school they were talking about families and when they started talking about Dads he had a little melt down. So he was with me when she had her melt down and he got so upset. He is okay now. It's hard explaining something like that to a seven year old.

message 4792: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) oh no! Not a good morning for you at all :(

Your son sounds like he is a pretty tough kid :) At least you know how to take care of him and take him to church.

message 4793: by [deleted user] (new)

I try. I'll tell you it is hard being a single mother but it has forced us to be a closer family.

I just love my kids!

message 4794: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Sounds to me like your kids have a great mom!

message 4795: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) :)

message 4796: by [deleted user] (new)

Thank you Allison!

message 4797: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay so my son wants to play cards. A new game he invented call flip 2!

I am going to go play flip 2 and be back later!

message 4798: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) byyyye! I'm off to start my book.

message 4799: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay so Flip 2 took about 30 minutes to explain and was rather silly I still don't understand the rules. He won every time. At first I thought it might be like 21 but the rules kept changing. But hey we gotta have fun sometime.

message 4800: by [deleted user] (new)

I bet Allison will finish the book today. She is just devouring books! We need to give her a big list of TBR!
