Kandice Oh! I don't think I can say that out loud! I mean, I can type it, and I can think it, but...

message 4202: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I still say you giving up "fast food" is the concept of unhealthy crap...so anything healthy, while it might be fast, is a-okay.

message 4203: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) haha...Kandice, you're too classy! :)

message 4204: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Hooray! I have Allison's permission to get soup! Th guy in the office next to mine id popping over there and I'm giving him money. He wanted to know what I did on lunch, and just shook his head and smiled at me;)

message 4205: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I didn't really mean wasted, as in I didn't enjoy chatting with you guys, just that I DIDN"T EAT!!!!!

message 4206: by Kandice (new)

Kandice We are "required" to use those stupid wrist cushions in front of our keyboards at work. I hate it, so I leave it in my drawer, unless I know some big deal person is coming in. I also hate the mouse here. At home we have the kind where you roll a ball, but don't actually move anything. Much better.

I hope you can get used to it:)

message 4207: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I just had to turn my fan on, lol...I was sweating! I do shipping/recieving for my office and I got HOT out in the warehouse (about 70 in the warehouse).

I just feel funny needing a fan in February!

message 4208: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona, I'm sorry you have a crap keyboard :( It is frustrating I bet. I really hope you get used to it soon...

message 4209: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) that soup DOES sound yummy.

message 4210: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) its so funny to think about you eating lunch when I'm about to go home for dinner :)

And Fiona about to go to bed! lol.

message 4211: by Kandice (new)

Kandice She's probably not really, though. She's such a little night owl:)

I just got it. It smells lovely.

message 4212: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I feel like a nap...I am so tired! The Stand kept me up too late. I know I'll probably be staying up all night tomorrow night finishing it since I can sleep Saturday.

message 4213: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Doesn't taste as good as it smells.

message 4214: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) what did you have for dinner Fiona?

message 4215: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) er...supper? whatever you call the evening meal...

message 4216: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) hmm.

message 4217: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) The Far Pavilions

I just discovered this...it looks good!

message 4218: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Okay I used the word homosexual. I just can't say out loud, to someone he doesn't really know, that he's gay. She thought, because we seem so close, that we used to date. What a laugh! I appologized, explained that she is a lovely girl, but he is strictly into men. I feel much better now.

message 4219: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Sorry Rach. I know you just had that migraine, too. Definitely lots of water.

message 4220: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) yay I got North and South today from BookMooch!

message 4221: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) umm...good question. :) I want to read it really bad though, so I might put it ahead of some others. But I still have Graceling, Howl's, Fallen Angel, The First Man in Rome...

grr. I need to quit my job to devote myself to full time reading! lol.

message 4222: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) is the BBC miniseries really close to the book, or did they change things? Just curious.

message 4223: by [deleted user] (new)

Fiona, sorry for asking, but what's a twiglet?

message 4224: by Allison (last edited Feb 26, 2009 04:11PM) (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Seriously. I should. I want to get my masters in library science eventually, and then maybe I should work in a small town library so I won't actually have to do very much and I can read all day :)

Man Fiona...you really do pretty much control my immediate TBR list. lol.

message 4225: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I thought you had already read it.

message 4226: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) yeah, it'll be the same for me then. I LOVED that mini series. If the book is anything like it, I am outraged it isn't as popular as P&P! What a rip off, its a much better story IMO...Thornton is much better than Darcy.

I actually ordered the miniseries on Amazon, I'm going to go visit my parents in a couple weeks so I can watch it again with my mom...I'm excited.

message 4227: by [deleted user] (new)

Mmm... sounds good lol I was picturing something more chocolaty...

message 4228: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) LOL...I keep recommending the book like I've read it and stuff...but just cause I loved the movie so much. Like its my favorite.

message 4229: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh that picture helps a lot! ;)

message 4230: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I think I'm glad the mini series came first, because now I can easily picture Thornton as I read :)

All the characters have more depth, the story isn't just about a bunch of silly girls getting married...ugh. It just makes me mad its not more popular!

message 4231: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I'm with ya! :)

...drat, I need to read the book. LOL.

I watched Wives and Daughters too...but I didn't like it near as much.

message 4232: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) hahahahaha, Fiona you crack me up.

message 4233: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I just read that to my hubby, because he wanted to know why I'm laughing...he rolled his eyes and called me weird :(

message 4234: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) English. :)

message 4235: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I love Ewan McGregor.

My husband always wants me to tell him what I'm laughing about and then he's like why are you laughing at that??? And I'm like, can't you just picture it?

message 4237: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) oh, I love him anytime...especially when he sings.

message 4238: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I think his voice is the reason I like him so much...not even his singing voice necessarily...just the tone to his voice. It just does something for me.

message 4239: by Kandice (new)

Kandice They always seem to think we're weird when we are having fun!
Joe just came to say goodbye, and I had such a hard time not tlling him about Maria!!!I'm also now wondering, do other people think we used to date?

message 4240: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) hmmmm. Interesting situation, Kandice.

message 4241: by Kandice (new)

Kandice He has an absolutely dreamy voice! His singing is even more splediferous than his speaking!!!! AAAAAHHHHH....

message 4242: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) hhaha, my husband doesn't understand how I could have friends on the internet.

I just looked at him and said, "um...they read. Should I keep going or is that enough?"

He said "oh. Whats for dinner?"

message 4243: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Fiona-You don't mean when he has a beard and a mullet as Obi Wan, do you? That's not his best look. LOL

message 4244: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha typical husband

message 4245: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) LOL...sure isn't!

message 4246: by Kandice (new)

Kandice That guy is pretty dreamy too! I am a complete sucker for a dented chin. I have not seen the movie yet.

message 4247: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) he is very cute in Down With Love...but I don't like that movie. I have seen it twice, just to watch him.

message 4248: by Kandice (new)

Kandice The guy that plays Stephen?

message 4249: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't like Down with Love either. My sister loves it, but I just don't see why.

message 4250: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I'm really mad because ICTC isn't available on NetFlix. I don't know how I'll get to see it :( I don't want to buy it really.

He IS dreamy though, I hadn't seen him.
