I'm not a big fan of non-fiction. I do have a few on my TBR to give a try though...*snort* in like 5 years at this rate.
it also just occured to me that I have two Christian fiction series I REALLY want to read...I swear, the pressure of picking what to read next is worse than college finals.
Fiona wrote: "Lol, Jeane you can't plan your life around reading. Well, you could and can but...And I think we all like Italian food so you might find yourself with some new house guests if you're not careful...."
yes you can!!!!! sometimes....
oh well, all our houseguests are gone besides the one we rent at but she comes back from china 5th of march....so you are allw elcome because at least won't have to wonder how bad it can be with the new ones.....
No haven't read JP....or seen. Not sure if it is something for me.
Oh I liked your honest comment at the end...:-)
Allison wrote: "Well...fiiiiine. The Stand it is. I DID promise Kandice I would start The First Man in Rome this week though....eh well. If The Stand is as addicting as you say, that probably won't be a proble..."
Listen to Kandice!!!!! And make me feel jealous!!!!
I have a problem. i can buy books but while we live in this house I don't have palce in our room. I can put them in a drawer but it is full, half with books I bought. And when i open or close that drawer sometimes the whole part moves with it!But i bought another book today...... but i have a feeling this will be the last one for a long time as I know I cna manage to put it just in it but then not anymore and I have nowhere to put others after this one....
Fiona wrote: "Under the bed? Maybe turn a pile of books into a bedside table or a coffee table or something. Or get rid of the bed, make a matress of books, wrap it up in a blanket and sleep on it?"It is an english kind of bed, you know the like boxes and they put a kind of wooden thing where your head is and a mattras on it...so not like a normal bed I am used to that isn't on the floor but has space under it...
Fiona wrote: "Oh I hate those. Had one at uni, creaked and cranked with a saggy mattress that went PING in middle of the night.Maybe be hang them from the ceiling from a hammock? Can't you persuade the landlor..."
we probably are going to find another place in dublin after being her for about six months, so no use....
maybe i cna jsut first read the ones i bought, keep going to the library like I do already and I think that will make the time pass already and I don't need to buy books.
my boyfriend had even the great idea that I didn't wanted to hear that every time around the time I get my wage i could buy a book......that doesn't help!!!!
I started the 3rd Stephanie Plum. They make me laugh really hard :-) And they are short. I'll be able to read it this afternoon and hopefully finish Jurassic Park too.
aww, yeah. Sometimes I take naps on weekends just because I can, not because I'm falling asleepor anything...and I usually wake up with a headache. In this case...I had to get up horribly early this morning, so I just nodded off and didn't look up again until an hour had passed. hehe.
Get to reading then! But check in and tell me if you like it! I might have to read it too.Assuming I like The Stand of course.
Which you have convinced me that I will.
Mkay...I'm off to read too.
hmm. I got Rebel Angels in the mail today, and its the only one I was waiting on to start the Gemma Doyle trilogy! I'll have to do that now sometime.
I stayed up longer than I should have reading Jonathan Strange and had to force myself to go to bed. Really enjoying it and once I told myself I want to finish it by tomorrow I really try it then.oh damend have to sneeze constantly, like seven times in a row....
luckily it is jsut sneezing but most of the time when it is mroe than once then there is a very good chance that I have to sneeze seven times. very weird...so are you going for the spring challenge?
Fiona wrote: "Going to make more of an effort this time around. I'm not very good at being cornered into reads though. Hum. Well. And it might take me the whole of Spring to read IT if I keep browsing GR!"
I ready many interesting books like this.

if you come here you can join us but otherwise i am just going to overeat for once and enjoy. the taste is just so good everytime.
Fiona wrote: "Think I'd be a little late.I think I'm having a veggie lasagne today, by Linda McCartney. "
or they good/ I whish I could buy the ones i buy in belgium. it is of the supermarket brand if i remember but I just adore them.
Fiona wrote: "I haven't had the Lind mcCartney one before. I've had the Quorn and that's quite nice.I think I prefer the veggie lasagne's to the meaty one though. "
me too or when I make one myself full of vegetables. My boyfriend doesn't like it ebcause it doens't resemles the ones you can buy or the normal meat one but I love eating it.
Fiona wrote: "I just had dinner...The Linda McCartney one was quite good - very cheesey and tomatoey more so then the Quorn one which I think just uses some gravy tasting stuff.
I don't like the lasagne made ..."
the beggie monce is very good. I aodre vegetables and couldn't do without them. one or two days without vegetables and fruit and i don't really feel good.
Fiona wrote: "I should be reading. How am I going to get through 1375 pages in a decent amount of time if I continue to doss around here all the time?"
I am reading and reading so I would finish Jonathan Strange today... Have read about 150 pages of it this weekend but need to read another two hundred...
i am full. ate a pizza and a half already and there are two others almost prepared....but they are soooo good. I saw one of the two with meat on, I think smoked turkey slices and even though I wouldn't eat it, it did look very good.
I'm only on page 26 of The Stand but its already got me dying to know what is going on!I'm getting sleepy though...I might have to stop and take a nap.
haha, I update what page I'm on way too often. But I like watching the little ticker thing get closer and closer to halfway there...or in the case of The Stand, actually showing any progress at all.
Yeah, weekends are just weird for me since I read off and on all day. Usually during the week I just update after my lunch hour and at night.
Allison wrote: "I just had a chicken strip sandwich off the Sonic $1 menu for lunch.Whoopie."
Mmm, Sonic. We finally got some in Michigan and I was so excited!
Fiona wrote: "Or I'll just update at the end of every day rather then throughout. "I update my page # right before I go to bed for the night. I'm glad I didn't get into a routine of constantly updating, that would be insane!
haha, I have never lived anywhere that didn't have one on like...every block. In fact, I grew up in a small town of less than 3000 people, and Sonic was the only franchised place we had!
We just got Sonic's in the past year. Before that my brother and his friends actually drove to Fort Wayne, IN in order to go there! Now there is one only 20 minutes away. Still not too close but no longer a road trip away.
What is a Twitter account? You ladies have any ideas on how I can fit the book Outlander in the spring challenge?
No Fiona I wish I was traveling there soon. LOLSonic is a fastfood resteraunt. They serve hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches etc...You can go through the drive thru or you can park your car and order through the speaker and then someone brings you your food so you can eat in your car.
Such a headache today nad I don't know if it is still the pizza from yesterday but I can hardly keep my eyes open.... really sooooo tired.
Hello Girls!I LOVE Sonic! We are getting one this summer.
When we are referring to the book It, lets put it like this *IT*, then we'll know.
I'm glad you're liking it Fiona.
