Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments hmmm, fiona i only liked Johny Depp of all of them...:-)
I also have something for eyes.

okay lets try to get some pictures in and then you can all say how ugly you think they are and then I have them all for me!!!

okay, don't have a clue how to put a picture....

message 3053: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Oh Jeane. I hope you get it soon!!! I can't wait to hear your opinion. You should catch up quick, as you can probably read on your commute, right?

Fiona-I KNEW you were going to put that McAvoy. The clip you gav eus for his accent made him seem like such a cutie! When he whispered a request for permission, aaaahhh.... I can't believe that's Tumnus.

Johnny Depp is every woman's dream man. Oh God doesn't he just scream sexiness? Sinise is good, but as Lt. Dan??!!! I don't see how anyone with blood could not absolutely love Mr. Darcy. And Rickman...sometimes I really get that, and sometimes...I don't. I usually like very dark hair and very light eyes. Such a striking combination.

message 3054: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Lt. Dan just looks so... dirty! His voice is soooo nice, though.

Northern Accent? North in England? I don't know enough about them to tell.

My husband has black hair and super blue eyes, and yes...he's melty!!!

message 3055: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments okay, I will put links.... sorry but the first one is pretty predictable and I wonder if I will remember this second the others. And remember it is mostly all about the eyes for me.

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments noooooo, well I liked him amlot more when he became famous in ....a serie about a girl.....uhm don't remember it. Lately his style of life doesn't really sound good but hos eyes are to melt.

It is crazy what eyes can do for me!!!!!

message 3057: by Kandice (new)

Kandice My daughter thinks Jared Leto is a "Complete and total babe!" to quote she and her gaggle of giggling friends. That first one is pretty handsome in a rugged way!

My husband's dad is Polish, but his mom is completely Irish and he definitely takes after her side of the family. My husband's poor sister takes the Polish side. Very large nose, hands and feet.

message 3058: by Kandice (new)

Kandice No, they do not! They think everything we say has been measured and weighed for reaction before being said. Well, I DO NOT rant that way. There's no fun in that!!!

message 3059: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Yes...boys are the worst sometimes. We NEED to rant, and they make the mistake of thinking that it is open for interpretation or argument. I HATE that.

message 3060: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Who will know when you deserve a spanking? Sorry, that a reference to the bog "O".
Yeah, you're right. I know my husband gripes to his buddies sometimes. I don't care at all. If I had no girlfriends to grip to every once in while, I suspect his life might be hell! Probably the same vice-versa!

message 3061: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I swear Rachel, next I visit my dad, I am calling you up!!!!!

message 3062: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I like option three the very best, but I will take one or two! I really do need to see my father's side of the family this year, so don't be surprised.

message 3063: by Kandice (new)

Kandice My anniversary is the 20th of this month. August 6th is my husband's birthday. If it was our anniversary, I'd go! I think I may have mentioned he took me to a Star Trek convention for our first anniversary. I just can't do it HIS birthday.

message 3064: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Neither did my husband. Still doesn't, he just knew it was my big dream, and I would never go by myself. Now, I have my son, who would probably go with me to the next one here. We have been to ComicCon, and he LOVED that. Serioulsy, I don't see how anyone couldn't love that.

hehe, the first one is my favourite for already 15 years! It is aolo maldini and he is an italian football player for Ac Milan. He is concidered one of the best players of his position in the world. He can play soccer like it is art and be so good at the same time! Abd he never played for another team, started like that as a youth and is still there.

message 3067: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Jeane, is that the football, that for me would be soccer? I get confused. My daughter plays soccer (football) and is incredibly good. Soccer is fairly her life. She's the keeper, and even though she's only 10, she can't punt to within about 5 yards of the other goal. She has as many assists on her team as the offensive players! I'll have to look up pictures of that guy, because she would be thrille by a "Babe" soccer/football player!

yes kandice, soccer. she might look into other italian players but make sure she doesn;t watch any of Juventus or Inter Milan. Probably she will think him too old looking. I actually don't care. He looked gorgeous (especially those eyes) when he was ten years younger and he just stays as beautiful or gets greater with his age. Most players at his age already had to quit if they want to play at the high level he does and doing it good.
Whenever he is on tv I don't care about my eyes but I am sitting as close as possible. Having two dvd's about him doesn't help....

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Gorgot to tell, the little cute bookstore I went in today had on some shelves beside the genre also something written. Like one wrote to be careful because the shelf is a bit ....unstable. But she wrote it in a very funny way. Or on another one there was written first 'children books'(I saw a BAbar book there!!!!!!!) and then next something like 'which can really be for adults too!!!' . it came to this but don't remember the exact phrase. This made me smile and i had to think about some of you.

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments The six nations for rugby started agin. Watching online England-Italy at twickenham....wasn't far from where I lived in England. Italy comes from far but is growing every year..

message 3072: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I kep seeing people talk about [image error] too. It looks good and seems to get all good reviews. Some people have said there's a bit of s-e-x in it, but otherwise...
I think that's super cute they would put little notes like that on the shelves! My children bought me a book Koko's Kitten for a birthday present one year. I LOVE gorillas, and sometimes, I just read this book to make me smile. Children's book or no, it's my favorite. I can not even count how many times I have read it aloud.

Kandice Hey I didn't know I could do that cover thing!!!

The First Man in Rome by Colleen McCullough

The Grass Crown by Colleen McCullough

These aren't the covers Ihave, I think these are the paperbacks, but still...

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Kandice wrote: "I kep seeing people talk about [image error] ..."

Isn't it great that she put that enxt to it???!!!!! You know I was saying in my head to msyelf that I will come in once a mnth to buy a book there, as I saw so many I wanted and are on my TBR lists and I would be supporting the shop..... i think it si better to go to that shop through a different street and explore Dublin by not passing there. But I also found out about what looks like an Italian corner...all places to eat Italian food, some italian looking bars......

message 3075: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I LOVE Italian food. Anything, pretty much. I have to admit, I like it even better after reading the Rome books. I like to imagine they may have eaen some of what I am eating. Not pizza, but other stuff. Total goofball, I know.

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments oh oh, trouble is coming. Maybe two weeks ago or so I saw a calender about Ireland in waterstones and there was a bookshop on one of the pictures. I think I found where it is....jsut that the name of the place is the same like where I work.....I don't have a clue if it is nearby because I work on the industrial estate and don't know if the centre is nearby and id the shop is there but.....

message 3078: by Jeane (new)

Hey I'm back online!
Having been out of touch for a week when I read this my first thought was 'One week away and they turn this into an erotica thread!' and then I realised you meant Outlander.

Then I looked at all that eye candy and returned to my previous conclusion.

There is a modern version of Macbeth with James McAvoy and Richard Armitage. Good acting in addition to the eyecandy.
I've never seen a film with James McAvoy that I didn't like and although I'm a Darcy fan Richard Armitage in North and South did make me tremble.

Had a very weird moment watching Heroes with my 11 year old daughter when both of us remarked 'Isn't Peter Cute!'

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments My boyfreind is so tired that he keeps chatting to himself and it akes me laugh so much and then he says I am making fun of him...and it gets worse. And he keeps asking if I will do the things he wants to do because he is so tired and when i say no he says in a very tired funny voice that I have to stop making fun of him, but i am not doing that. Why can't he just decide to go to bed???? But he won't , not before twelve at least and probably only later....

message 3082: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments I don't know. kind of that he has to do everything, he types on the bed while laying down while I type, that he has to turn his body to get up to drink his tea nad that nobody turns him. No he is singing about me and calling my name in a funny way without any reason...... I think he jsut doesn't have any energy anymore.
he jsut told me he can read the future in his cup of tea and it says that he is drinking tea.
There was kitchen paper on the bed where he was going to lay down, so I told him. he answered that it wasn't but it was at my side(he put it there).
he keeps saying basta to me whenever i watch him. no his belly is soft he says. he starts telling about today but only says Oggi....(which means today).

message 3083: by Kandice (new)

Kandice It certainly sounds like it! Funny tea.

I was in the living room the other night, and it was waaaaay after my daughter had gone to bed. I could hear her talking, and thought she was still awake and sneaking the phone. I tiptoe over and listen, and she was talking in her sleep. It was so funny the things she was saying. She was giggling and just saying all these crazy, random things. I talk in my sleep often, but she never has, and I wonder if it was just that she was super tired.

message 3084: by Kandice (new)

Kandice My husband made an appointment for me to get my nose peirced! He tried to drag me out of the house to go. I thought he was kidding, but he had a coupon and everything. I had said before that a girl I know had a cute little gem in her nose. His bright idea was that I would like one too!
My oldest son is hollering "No, moms don't have nose rings!" and my youngest son is all for tying me up and dragging me out the door!
Where do men get these crazy ideas? I guess it was thoughtful, but...no way! I am too old.

message 3085: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I think the little tiny studs are pretty, and that's the comment I made. A few times, according to him. I DO think their pretty, but what if you get a wicked cold? How do you blow? It's winter. I don't want to be worried about snot in a new wound.

The filament is probably just about to go out. (lamp)

message 3086: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I think I may have gone had he suggested this in the summer. Right now, though, everyone except me is getting over a really bad cold. We have gone through boxes and boxes of Kleenex, and that's all I think of. I know I'll get it next. Then where will I be? It will probably hurt to blow, stuff may get stuck in there. (gross!) and I will be picking fragments of tissue off my stud. Nope, I'll see if this summer he still thinks I should.
The coupon he has, has your choices of stud, and there is a little, tiny diamond. Sooo pretty. I may change my mind, but not today. And why is it so expensive? They pierce your EARS for $5 at Wal-Mart.

message 3087: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I would never go to Wal-Mart for that, but I know people do. The place Vinny was going to take me looks just like a Dr. office. I guess he had been thinking of it for a while and done some research.

Kandice If you look at that link, that permanent makeup looks horrible to me! I don't think I prefer a single one of them after.

message 3089: by Kandice (new)

Kandice The eyebrows are atrocious! They look like cartoon characters. Also, if you have that crap tatooed on your face, aren't you sort of obligated to put other make-up on every day? No way would I want to be stuck with that.

Do you have Cheetos? My daughter is eating a bag of the puffs, and I keep snitching them. I haven't eaten them in years, and they are soooo good!

message 3090: by Kandice (new)

Kandice The puffy ones, or the crunchy ones? I like them both, but I have been kind of sucking on these puffy ones and letting them sort of melt...cheezy heaven!

What kind of biscuits are you sending her?

message 3091: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I have a very small diamond in my left nostril. It was my Valentine's present from my husband, and I love it!!! I would never, ever have thought to do it, but I really do like it. My youngest son went with us, but my oldest son is afraid to look at it. My daughter spent the night at a friends's, but I can't wait to see what she thinks.
