Kandice This girl too. She was in The Village, and was stick skinny. Looked awful, but then she was in Spiderman 3 and she was beautiful. In a simple way. I think it's her eyes, and her lips. Very soft.

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments question, can you buy in America the kinder chocolate eggs of ferrero?

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments the kinder chocolate still tastes soooo good...which my stomach wouldn't hrut anymore and I could eat some...

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments I am pretty sure we do not have the kinder chocolate eggs here in America.

message 6814: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I've never heard of Kinder eggs either. Dove is the best we have at a grocery, I think. Or Lindt.

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments saw also the images aren't familiar? I was curious to know if my friend in wisconsin would know them...

A Bat Mitzvah involves leading the service and learning the Torah portion which is quite an undertaking for a young person. But we go to synagogue regularly so my daughter is familiar with the service and gets on well with our Rabbi and she did us proud. Also most of the congregation are friends so they were almost as proud as we were.

After services I laid on a brunch (as detailed previously :0) The biggest hassle is serving the food while trying to be 'the hostess with the mostest' for hungry and impatient guests but this time everyone, even the kids, came to help me - It was an amazing experience.

edit: Actually I didn't detail the food here but on the Rant thread - but then most of us are there as well :0)

Esther (eshchory) | 575 comments Fiona wrote: "Ah, I love Kinder Eggs... when I was a kid. Chocolate kinda tastes a bit icky now I think."

There were no Kinder eggs in UK when I was a kid and when I was introduced to them, on trips to Europe, I found them too sweet and milky - I'm a 65% cacao girl myself.

But my children frequently get them as treats from and they love them, especially the surprise inside. When they were little I did enjoy putting together the little toys - now they are pre-teens they do it for themselves!

message 6820: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Fiona wrote: "You're missing out - not on the choc so much but the toy inside!

I think you can get the choc on it's own Jeane, have you tried that?"

I admit I did have that....a lot. My favourite once are actually jsut the same chocolate but without surprise. The small bars. The great thing is they aren't expensive and you can buy one small bar and feel great already without eating too many. Of course if you buy a kind of box with ten in..... oh and for easter they make the big eggs!!!!

I should buy something special from smurfenland in belgium...but I don't know when I ever will got here again...

message 6846: by Esther (new)

Esther (eshchory) | 575 comments When I was a kibbutz volunteer I would go to bed at 1am, wake at 4am for work. Finish work at 1-2pm. Sleep from 3-7pm then up again for the second half of my day.

That was the life.

When I would volunteer to do the night shift shipping turkeys I would get so high I'd be up 48 hrs straight even though I was doing heavy manual work.

Age is catching up with me.
If I stay up past 1am I get 'hungover' in the morning.

But I love staying up so much that at least once a week, when I don't have to work in the morning, I treat myself by staying up late.
