Allison (inconceivably) I feel like a moron, lol. It never even occurred to me until just now.

message 5702: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) anything else I should get? I want to use up my points!

message 5703: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) (that was sarcastic, btw...I know what you think I should get)

message 5704: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I didn't realize there were points involved. I thought you just traded books with people.

message 5705: by Allison (last edited Mar 05, 2009 02:44PM) (new)

Allison (inconceivably) you do...but you get points by giving books, thats what you use to get them.

You get 1/10th of a point when you list a book that you are willing to give away, and 1/10 of a point when you mark a book you get as "received" on the website as well

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona, what was your username on BM? Maybe I can see your account

message 5710: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) eh, I probably can't. I don't know if you can search for anything but books.

message 5711: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) haha.

message 5712: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Some girl pissed me off, I sent her Lady Audley's Secret...and it had a creased spine, I put "good condition, not excellent"

she said "um, I would call this OKAY condition I wish people would post the correct information"

I was like....YOU BITCH! lol. If you want a brand new book, go buy it.

She did still give me positive 1 though.

message 5713: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) mkay...I'm off work now...and I gotta go grocery shopping :(

message 5714: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I only have 7 now :D I mooched 3 just now.

message 5715: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Once I spend those 7, I'll put my account on vacation and leave it for awhile. I was too obsessed.

message 5716: by Kandice (new)

Kandice That's very generous of you Miss Fiona.

I just had a pretty scary phone conversation with the crazy lady from day before yesterday. I can see she will be ending up my new best friend :(

message 5717: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Ha ha! That would be too funny. I wish I could-annonymously, of course:) How could that not cheer anyone up?

message 5718: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Ha ha! That was a giggle...

message 5719: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments Oh I'm so excited ladies...I'd be jumping up and down if I could...lol

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments I don't know yet....I have to think...hmm

message 5721: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I've already said how much I enjoy anything that smells good. Lovely gift! What scent?

message 5722: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Oh yeah. Fiona with her suggestions! She finds a wedge...

message 5723: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments The scents are rain kissed leaves, moonlight path, and sweet pea. All from Bath and Body works.

As for books you all can give me suggestions...I wouldn't mind. :~)

message 5724: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments I keep going back and forth between this thread and the spring challenge thread...sounds like there is a little bit of confusion or arguing about YA books over there.

message 5725: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Moonlit Path is a little overwhelming for me, but I have Sweet Pea everything!!!!!Good choice.

message 5726: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Rain Kissed Leaves is nice and clean, and that soft green looks nice on the counter.

message 5727: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments I can't wait to use them...I want to wait till some of the stitches are gone on my stomach...but for now I'll use them on my hands. :~)

message 5728: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Feet too! It's always nice to have soft feet...

message 5729: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments oh yes Kandice I love soft feet too...

Oh Fiona those look pretty good. I have I Capture the Castle...but I'm going to look at the rest you have up there. Thank you

message 5730: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments ohh Rachel that sounds neat...you should take a picture of it and share it with us.

message 5731: by Kandice (new)

Kandice That's a good idea. At our church we have a Mother Daughter Tea every year for Mom's day and there's always a theme. I usually help with the decorations. It's so much fun.

No, it is not a $60 tea. It's $5.

message 5732: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments We have that at our church too Kandice. I haven't done that in a few years. It was fun the last time my daughters and I did it.

message 5733: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I give most of my books away as I read them, but I am keeping ICTC. It's pretty and I want my daughter to read it.

message 5734: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I keep the books I can't part with. I have lots, 4 floor to ceiling bookcases in the living room, but there are only so many spaces. Plus, I really like it when someone I know reads a book I've read. Even if I give it to them and they don't actually read it, it feels nice to see it at their house.

message 5735: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Oh my goodness! I am so unsmart. This entire time, every time I see new posts, I open the thread and then go to the last page, working my way bak if I have to. I never knew you could just click on the red # of new posts and it would take you there!

message 5736: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments I didn't know that either...LOL

message 5737: by Kandice (new)

Kandice There are just so many things I don't know! If you don't know you don't know, how do you know to ask?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 5738: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments LOL exactly!

message 5739: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona! There is nothing wrong with using BookMooch points you have earned, use them!

But thanks anyway :) You're very nice. *hug*

message 5740: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Kandice, it took me a long time to figure that out :P Don't feel bad.

message 5741: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Allison, I was waiting to do a re-read before reading book 7.

message 5742: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Allison wrote: "Kandice, it took me a long time to figure that out :P Don't feel bad."

I am certainly glad to know I'm not the only one! I can't believe how much quicker that is.

message 5743: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) You can donate your bookmooch points to charity?

message 5744: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Oh, that pretty cool. You should do that instead of letting them sit there if you don't want to use them that is.

message 5745: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Fiona-You are already into the whole prison thing, right? Didn't you see a prison production of some play or something? The points could go to one of them.

message 5746: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Very sweet! The neck is okay today?

message 5747: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I'm just about to leave work. Have good sleep little birdie:)

message 5748: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) aww Fiona, you're going to give them? thats nice :)

I like having them around as a little...insurance ;) I've already spent the money to earn them, might as well use them when I want something.

message 5749: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) OK... This is really random, but I wanted to share it with you guys cause I know you'll understand, haha.

I just watched Little Miss Sunshine, and when the older brother Dwayne found out that he was colorblind I just burst into tears. I felt so bad for him!

Not that being colorblind is terrible, my dad is colorblind, but Dwayne's reaction was just so real, given the situation.

I think that I'm being ridiculously emotional lately. The other day I argued with Thomas because he scrunched my pillow and made it lumpy. Seriously, I really did. I think I should go hide in a cave until this passes...

message 5750: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I'm a selfish prick...but I'm keepin' my points for now.
