I don't think The Historian will bore you, it is much faster paced and more current than Dracula...I would assume, I haven't read Dracula yet :P

message 5604: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Dracula sucked. All that hype with a wimpy ending.

Really? Try Sepulchre. i loved the switches she made in both her books. Why didn't you amnage to read on?
Pitty The historian has a slow start. And it isn't directly about Dracula, it is done very original...

message 5624: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I went to midnight releases for HP movie 4...and for the books 5-7, I think.

I really believe the only thing that would compel me to do that again would be...HP.

I'm too old and creaky now.

message 5625: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I was disappointed in Prestige, despite the hotties that are in it...is that the one Christian Bale is in too? OMG I love him.

message 5647: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I think both our DVD players are a VHS combo...then we have the Blu-Ray thingie too.

message 5648: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) My husband could rave about it for hours...but I dunno. I CAN tell a difference, of course, between regular and HD...but not especially between HD and Blu-Ray, although it is really cool in that it makes everything HD.

message 5649: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) oh, we have a big screen. My hubby doesn't care if we're dead broke as long as he has his electronics :P

message 5650: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I don't care either...its all him. I just roll my eyes and let him pay the bills.
