Allison (inconceivably) Jackie wrote: "I <3 Voyager so much more than DIA! I read a couple of chapters last night and then ended up skimming through future chapters. I'm so nosey! I couldn't deal with the anticipation. lol"

I do that quite often :) We're cheaters.

message 5502: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Hey Fiona! I actually posted a picture this morning...I was very proud of myself. And of Mr. Thornton, no less :)

message 5503: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) LOL...book slut! If my bf only knew what I dreamed about at night. *sigh*

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona wrote: "Yuck, this bread is too soft and untasty... it's like eating fluff! Need a cup of tea I think to wash it down."

I would need the bread to cover up the nasty taste of the tea :P

message 5505: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Um, sorry Heather. I HAD to find out. *slinks away*

message 5506: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) the Voyager thread

message 5507: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona, I think you've posted that pic before...but I couldn't find a better one.

message 5508: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) OH YEAH!!! I don't know the whole situation, but it's a BIG surprise that he's been hiding.

message 5509: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Aww boooo! It says image forbidden for me. :(

message 5510: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) mmmm Fiona, that is a GOOD one.

I just melted.

message 5511: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) mmmmm....yummy!

message 5512: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Hahaha! No worries Fiona, I've added already to my TBR today. Hopefully, after the Outlander series.

message 5513: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) He is just...steamy.

message 5514: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) I have to add that series to my Blockbuster list. He's really quite delicious! *wipes the drool from the keyboard*

message 5515: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) It is a FANTASTIC movie, probably my top 3 faves.

message 5516: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona wrote: "Gross! I'd hate to see the state of your Outlander books."

hahaha.

message 5517: by Kandice (new)

Kandice That is a very, very, incredibly...nice picture. *faints dead away*

message 5518: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Well, the Outlander books are from the library so I have to keep the drool to a minimum. They have definitely been well read though, because they're kinda nasty. The only one that was clean is the copy of Voyager I have now.

message 5519: by Allison (last edited Mar 05, 2009 08:18AM) (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Mr. Thornton is so kind and giving...*sigh* Sure beats the pants off of cranky Mr. Darcy.

I keep looking at that picture, LOL.

message 5520: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I hate library book grime :( It makes me feel like I have AIDS.

message 5521: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) yeah, my comment felt mean...I deleted it.

message 5522: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Good morning girls! What a nice image to say hello to.

message 5523: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Morning, Kandice :)

message 5524: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I know! By the time I post a comment to what someone says, it shows up like 7 posts down.

message 5525: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) ...except for just then, haha.

message 5526: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Were you asking me about N&S? I read it a few years ago. I am trying to avoid re-reads right now, but I will read it again sometime. It's a beautiful book. (better than Austen, I think)

message 5527: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) yeah, I was always afraid I'd get a smoky from BookMooch, but I've been lucky so far.

message 5528: by Kandice (new)

Kandice But, books that just smell OLD are the best! I love hardbacks with cloth on the covers. They just hold that old timey smell.

message 5529: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I was just checking in. I have to run to the store and then work. I'll probably come back to 100 posts. LOL
See you in a bit;)

message 5530: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) See ya Kandice!

message 5531: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Morning Kandice!

Fiona, I agree they should be banned. I haven't had anything too nasty, but sometimes older books are bit grimy. Luckily, we have 2 libraries I can choose from. One is more modern, so the books there are newer. I try to go to that one as often as possible.

message 5532: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Um ok...bye Kandice! Damned delayed posts.

message 5533: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) My suburb's library is very small...I need to figure out where the main branch of the city library is...maybe it won't be too far away

message 5534: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Ugh, I got my copy of Outlander from BookMooch, when I opened it, a HUGE smushed bug fell out :(

message 5535: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) When I got N&S, I mooched it from the UK, and the girl sent some kind of whiskey fudge candy with it, I tried one and it was nasty :(

message 5536: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Ewww, I think the worst I've has is old receipts and bits of paper. I've never had the pleasure of food or bugs.

message 5537: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) The only food I've dealt with is a chocolate like formation covering the top of several pages of One for the Money. It was pretty easy to avoid, but it grossed me out anyway.

message 5538: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) morning Rachel :)

message 5539: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Man! I really want to read Shogun too, stupid useless library.

message 5540: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Morning Rachel!

message 5541: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Did you see the pic in the previous page? It'll give you something to moan about :D

message 5542: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I'll have to comb thrift stores, I suppose. Maybe I'll find one.

I'm excited to go visit my mom, there is a Christian thrift store in my hometown, all the old ladies that die's books all end up there, and no one ever buys any of them. I can always find good older stuff.

message 5543: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Rachel wrote: "Good moaning? I suppose a good moan is always nice... ;D"

LOL...go moan about Mr. T on the previous page

message 5544: by Allison (last edited Mar 05, 2009 08:44AM) (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Has anyone read Tell No One by Harlan Coben? I just got it from the library.

message 5545: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) *picks herself up off the floor*

k, I'm back.

message 5546: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) ooo...Shogun is only $7 at Walmart, and I have a giftcard...

message 5547: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) eh, I'll wait.

message 5548: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) it would be awful nice to have a fresh new copy with noone else's...butt juice on it.

message 5549: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) I have to keep from scrolling up. lol.

message 5550: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I am always looking for good stuff on BBC America, I think we get the shaft.
