message 5202: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I only watch Lost and Grey's. No reality TV for me.

message 5203: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) the only show I can't live without is 24.

message 5204: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Speaking of Lost, I should watch the episode I missed tonight...

message 5205: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Ugly Betty and parts of Biggest Loser for me. Also Dancing with the Stars when its on. I stopped watching Grey's because it turned into one big orgy.

message 5206: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Rachel, that's a good question. This thread almost has as many posts as my roleplay in Libba Bray Lovers.

message 5207: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Procrastinating :)

message 5208: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I've been procrastinating too. I really should do some chores and things. But now I'm addicted to Twitter.

message 5209: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Okay, for an hour or so, Fi. :)

message 5210: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I'm SekritEmuSister.

message 5211: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments There, request sent so I can follow you.

message 5212: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I tweet way too often. I should be researching.

I'm afraid to read TSFT in my father's apartment. Tis not a holy place. I can only read TSFT in holy places.

Tis a rule.

message 5213: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) What is the purpose of Twitter?

message 5214: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Umm, it's micro blogging.

message 5215: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Yes, but it's nice when people reply. I've had whole conversations on Twitter.

message 5216: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Hahhahaha, I do that too.

message 5217: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Hello Rachel!

message 5218: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Oh! And (G)Emma!

message 5219: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments :D Hii!!!!

message 5220: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) Ah okay. I'm not checking it out then. lol. I don't need another addiction. It's enough keeping up on GR. I don't even go onto Facebook anymore.

message 5221: by Kandice (new)

Kandice My MOTHER got a MySpace page! I don't do any of those things. This is quite enough for me.

message 5222: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I used to do FB, but now it's strictly GR, Twitter and FAYAF.

message 5223: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Facebook is okayyy. I like twitter more.

message 5224: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I don't wear bracelets usually. I prefer necklaces.

message 5225: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments The bracelet? Where did you get it?

message 5226: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I usually only put on necklaces when I'm feeling happy. Hehhe.

message 5227: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) I hate FB. People put their whole lives on there. Do you know how easy it is to stalk someone? Well, apparently they don't.

message 5228: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Hahahhaahaa! Isn't it sort of hilarious that they give you completely irrelvant free things to the product?

message 5229: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Bracelets are my favorites. I usually have to have kid ones or adjust them, but they just seem so feminine, and easy to put on and take off.

message 5230: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Bracelets tend to fall off with me. They get in the way of things.

message 5231: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I have a pretty full jewelry box, but I am always afraid to lose anything expensive. I wear my wedding ring all the time, but pretty much anything else is a HUGE afterthought. Earrings are good if they are small enough to sleep in! I never remember to take them out.

message 5232: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments My last name on FB is Emma Emu instead of my actual last name.

message 5233: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Ha ha! It's fine. I really, really like it. It's jewelry you never have to think about, because I can't take it out yet. I think I am allowed to this weekend, but I'm a bit nervous. I mean, I clean it, of course! But I have yet to really take it all the way out. We saw some beautiful colored studs this weekend, so I can see maybe getting a few more, but... I'm not sure. (I mean more studs, not holes!)

message 5234: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I've never heard of stumble upon.

message 5235: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Nope, but I'll look.
Only 3 more days until my movie!!!! I am so excited!

message 5237: by Kandice (last edited Mar 03, 2009 02:12PM) (new)

Kandice Ha ha!!!! I don't have cats anymore, but when I did, they all must have been plotting to kill me, according to that!

message 5238: by Kandice (new)

Kandice When I click on the StumbleUpon thing, it says I am attempting to use an acct that does not exist.

message 5239: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I like Facebook :( I have a lot of friends in different areas and thats how I keep up with them.

message 5240: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) there were 40 posts while I went and did my shipping! Very nice.

The more I hear you talking about it...the more I want to read it.

message 5242: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Oh do!!!! It is such a good story. Not for the faint of heart, though. It's incredibly political, like all of his work, but the story is really good, even if you ignore all that.

message 5243: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I just know the film will be a dissapointment, but I think I will get a certain satisfaction from just seeing the characters. If I go expectng very little, maybe I will be blown away. Who knows?

message 5244: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Masked crimefighters. They don't have superpowers, just cool tools, along the lines of Batman. It's an alternative present if Nixon had stayed president. Eventually the heroes are made to unmask, a little like the characters in the Incredibles. Years later, there is a huge problem, they re-surface, and SAVE THE WORLD!!!!!

message 5245: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I didn't make even me want to read it, but really, you should!

message 5246: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) library doesn't have it :(

message 5247: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) probably start seeing it in thrift stores though, what with the movie and all

message 5248: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I bet you don't! I had the paperback version for years, read it almost to tatters. I wanted to replace it, but because of the movie, they were only displaying the $40 hardback version. Shaun and I just happened to be at Barnes and Nobles about 6 weeks ago when a kid was putting out an entire case of the paperbacks. Of course I grabbed one. By the time we left the store, every single copy was gone. There were like 40 too!!! Us geeks are great consumers:)

message 5249: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Damnit what? You can't add any books, I get that! Next yearm when you have considerably reduced mount TBR you can add it;)

message 5250: by Kandice (new)

Kandice It will. Have patience. I know (8000) exciting, huh? See what we can do when we set our minds to a task?
