Oh my I just got back from a walk and sure enough I have a 30% off coupon for Borders in my mailbox. Now I want to go buy the Howls and the other book Fiona is pushing on here...lol
LOL...Jeane! I know, I must sound crazy. I brought leftover homemade pizza though, and I'll probably get hungry and eat it this afternoon :)
that week I ate random stuff was just because I was too lazy to go grocery shopping, it doesn't count! hehe.
LOL...I pack my lunch based on what seems easiest to eat without spilling it on myself while I read :)
I know! Knowing me, I'll probably watch it when I finish the book...then AGAIN next weekend with my mom.Wait...who cares? If nothing else, I can stare at Richard Armitage (isn't that his name?)

for real.
that would! I really want to see that one we talked about...based on the last Dicken's book, can't remember the title. I'll have to Netflix it.
I used to have quite a few BBC mini-series on *gasp* VHS tape. I never replaced them with DVD's, but I remember watching Pride and Prejudice until it didn't play smoothly anymore.
yeah, I have P&P on DVD :-) I LOVE Colin Firth. *sigh*I've never seen the BBC Jane Eyre, is it good?
You know what bugs me? Jane is supposed to be so beautiful (in P&P), but in EVERY adaptation I've seen (which is 4 I think), she is played by someone very funny looking.:\
I have NOT seen the one with Firth, but I DID have something with Timothy Dalton. I don't remember whcih, but it may have been Jane Eyre since that's the right time frame for me.
Tom Jones and Our Mutual Friend are both available instantly, and I already have Cranford on the list of stuff I'm renting.
http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Our_Mu...Fiona, can you open that link? Do you think that disk it says its missing to watch instantly is extra or part of the movie?
I think he's okay, but maybe one must see the wet shirt scene to truly appreciate his......acting ability?
I was afraid of that.Well it has 6 episodes, about 50 minutes each all instantly, then it says "Dickens: The Final Chapter" is the last disk, ands its unavailable.
there are only 2 disks to rent, but instantly its seperated by episode.Good! Now I don't have to be scared I'll watch it all then not see the end or something, haha.
I'll watch that and Tom Jones both soon :-)
is Mansfield Park really good too? I know nothing about the plot at all...never read it or heard much about it.

I know. And food. I hate eating, it's such a pain.
I have eye ache.
"
HEY! Isn't your dr. appt. tomorrow for your neck?
me too, Jackie! I have them on my list at NF, but it might be a little while before I get to them. If you watch it, lemme know what you think.
Although if Fiona likes it as much as ICTC...its gotta be good :)
Fiona wrote: "Some people find their accents hard to understand... particularly if you're not British as the scouse accent is pretty thick - though in Lilies I think they watered it down for the sake of the view..."happy reading!
Allison- it'll probably be a while before I get to it too. I still have the rest of the Tudors and Rome to get through. I love GR for all the recs, but they are flooding my TBR and Blockbuster account.
ME TOO! I was just thinking...great, not only books...but TV!Two TV series (Tudors, Lilies) and 2 mini-series Our Mutual Friend, Tom Jones) I want to watch soon.
