In Stockholm as I am reading the last two books of the Millennium trilogy in preparation for a talk about them. Then on to a few other books that are set in New England and London, England
I am in Arkansas where I just discovered a dead body. I'm reading "In Plain Sight" Lorena McCourtney.
Now I reading a historical Novel. Taking place in Lüneburg (Northgermany) in the middle of the 30years war (around 1639)
Herrin wider Willen: Roman

Hannibal Fortune is a time traveler in ancient Carthage, in The Time Trap Gambit. This is an interesting old pulp tetralogy (?) but I am struggling with this last one for some reason.
My Character is in Graiguenamanagh, no need to say: in Ireland.
He is...the Messiah, Joshua, who stepped down from the cross in the Abbey of Graiguenamanagh.....

My character is in Ireland...reading the YA novel, The Book of Tomorrow by C. Ahern (a first read that I was fortunate to win from here).
Finished the above, and now my main characters are in Ohio in the fictional city of Ogontz, which is on the shores of Lake Erie. The novel is "So Shelly" by Ty Roth. The other book's main character is on a boat sailing toward the Orient (The Ginger Tree by Oswald Wynd).
I'm in Connecticut. Having just been released from a mental hospital for killing a man running for US Senate. I'm reading "One Last Kiss" Judith Kelman.
I'm spread between Minnesota, Washington DC and New York with the characters in Freedom by Jonathan Franzen. Its a good book but I'm finding the bits about the environment and population growth rather depressing.
One of the main characters is currently in London, England during the Blitz; she's a reporter, working with Edward R. Murrow. One of the other lead characters is the postmaster, in the fictionalized town of Franklin, MA on Cape Cod. Am reading "The Postmistress" by Sarah Blake.
I'm not sure I have a main character. Lots of people are trapped in a baseball stadim in Pawtucket, Rhode Island: Bottom of the 33rd: Hope, Redemption, and Baseball's Longest Game. (An ARC I'll be offering on swap if anyone's interested.)
I'm in Luxor with Lady Lucy Duff Gordon and her maid, Sally. The Mistress Of Nothing by Kate Pullinger
We're not too far away, in Casablanca, in a recent true memoir: The Caliph's House: A Year in Casablanca.
I'm now in New England (The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud) and in Belgium (A Tall Man in a Low Land) as well as on a boat to China (The Ginger Tree).

As I forgot to take this book with me on our holidays on Thassos, I "had to buy" another book.
So I have been in Kingsbridge, some villages arround, London, Florenz, Normandie,...
World Without End
Over 1000 pages but I finished it within 7 days, although we had a full holiday programm with friends and sightseeing. It was great, a good follow up to The Pillars of the Earth.

1. A few years back, like during George Bush II's inglorious regime, coastal California, my character is a biologist working for the park service on Anacapa Island, one of the channel islands. When the Killing's Done
. Great on audio!!2. My character is a young boy living in a spooky mansion outside London during WWII who encounters some magic -- The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly
I'm in Viet Nam in 1972. I'm still only 50 pages in but it's been good so far and that's not my typical type of book. I'm reading "Finding Jack" Gareth Crocker.
