What did you check out from you library today?

well, i didn't check out a book today but i did check out some about last week. I got The Scorch Trials by James Dashner (finished it today and it was awesome!!!! I can't wait for the next in the series!), Delirium by Lauren Oliver, and Across The Universe by Beth Revis!

Welcome! I checked out Across the Universe a few weeks ago and really liked it.

I loved Across the Universe! It was so good and intense too.

I checked out Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (but I haven't read past chapter one and it's boring me already so i think i will stop reading it and move on to another book) and I got Glee Season 1 on dvd (i'm trying to catch up lol).

I couldn't get into Before I Fall, so i returned it to the library immediately. Instead I checked out 5 books:

- Before I Die by Jenny Downham
- The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
- Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
- Warm Bodies by Issac Marion
- Wither by Lauren DeStefano

I'll try to read all of these books all the way through but if I get bored then my patience wears out very quickly and then I'll have to make another trip to the library. I think I need to learn to not set my expectations so high.

I've been busy so far and haven't made a run for the library. But hopefully I'll make a run after I finish my most resent book buy.

I read Warm Bodies and I LOVED IT!!! And I tried to get into Before I Die, but I ultimately gave up on it about halfway through. I went to the library this week and returned those, but I still have the other books checked out and I just checked out 2 more books from the library:

- Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry
- The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

I need to finish reading my stack of books and then I need to head into the library, they just got new books!

I think Before I Die is one of the books in my stack, I'll let you know if I can stand it when I get to it.

Got a beautiful book haul today from the library! They had a lot of new released books that I really wanted to read so I stuffed my bag with as many as I could carry lol

I'm almost done Wither and hopefully I'll be able to start The Graveyard Book next. Then, I can move on to this new stack of books!!!

wow!!! most of those books are on my to read list but i have read divergent, the maze runner, incarceron, the scorch trials, and sapphique. i really want to read unwind and that series by patrick ness. i've been meaning to buy the girl who was on fire too. GREAT HAUL!!!

I love my local library, they are very good at keeping their YA books up to date.

I checked this out in February but I am just now getting around to reading it:

It's for my African-American Literature course and I am surprisingly enjoying it so far. Too bad I'm behind in class or I would have been able to discuss it with everyone else when they had read it. Lol oh well. Better late than never, and it will probably be on our final so I definitely will have to finish it soon.
