Hi, don't mean to step on toes but has anybody started thinking about Australian books for the May read?

No work of fiction has grabbed my attention yet, but I am intruiged by Germaine Greer's The Female Eunuch.

Ah, I didn't notice Armenia. They seem to have a lot of poets!

Both are countries would be fine with me. Thanks for keeping in touch Chris. Its been awhile since I've read The Female Eunuch but its a good idea.

Diane Armenia is tough. Here are a couple that I think take place in Armenia:
Armenia: Portraits of Survival and Hope
Efronia: An Armenian Love Story

Australia:
In a Sunburned Country
The Road from Coorain
Elizabeth Costello

Have we been to Albania, Andorra, or Antigua yet?

Sorry I missed Diane's suggestions when I sent our poll out! I will redo the poll and add to it. Maybe this month as we have grown, we can try two books like some other groups do and you can chose which you would rather read. We can have two discussion threads going for Australia. If it works we can consider extending it. Thought?
