Got you, James and Michael...

Thanks, it has been a busy year so far. I couldn't believe it when I checked the thread and found 450 new posts. WOW!

Thanks Ginger! It looks like tags are country-dependent. I can't add tags to my own book in the US, or vote on others. Similarly US tags don't seem to carry to the UK. So I can do UK 'likes' but that seems to be all at the moment. If anyone wants me to add tags in the UK I'm happy to do that, but you'll need to let me now what they should be. (And maybe limit the numbers a bit, in case I get overwhelmed!)

Hi AB -- your book is tagged and liked.
Vickie

Hmm, Ginger, you do pressure me so! Here goes...
If you want to tag a book on another country site, you have to have bought from that site. (It's useful to be able to tag and review on other sites because it can help your book's exposure in that market e.g my few sales are evenly spread UK and US.) If you have a kindle or use Kindle for PC then an easy way to buy on another country site is to change your Country settings in Your Account > Digital Content > Manage Your Kindle > Country Settings. You'll need to enter a real address in the country you want to change to (could be a hotel from an internet search) and your account will be transferred to the other country site. Then purchase an ebook for 99c (I think it also works with free books, not sure), download to your kindle and switch your country settings back home. This will give you special tagging powers ;-]
I've heard, don't know if it's true, that tagging does nothing.
What I am going to do is go to the links and click YES on the first 4 or 5 star reviews I see.

Okay, I've clicked on YES to 5 star reviews - the more detailed ones, not the ones that are brief and gushing.
In the few cases where there were no reviews I tagged.
If anyone would like to click on YES to any of my reviews, here is the link.

BTW, the main character's mother in my book is named Joanna.

Hi Joanna and Ginger -- liked your reviews only the five star ones. Could you do mine?
Thanks,
Vickie

The Free promotion lasts until Monday PST, so if you like historical fiction, be sure to download Fiji.
Would also really appreciate any tags or reviews you care to add to the Amazon page. Thank you.

Hi Alesha -- your books are tagged, liked, liked your 5 star review and liked your author page.

A brilliant girl named Laila had the suggestion of starting at this end and working your way back. That way you'll be reciprocating with the still active people who are paying attention to the thread and will help you out with your book as soon as you get here.
Hope this helps!

Hi Victoria -- your book is tagged and liked.

I've clicked YES on the 5 star reviews up to here.
Ginger, Yes, Joanna's quite a nice name. When I was very young I never used to like it, but I like it now.
