I actually feel that Keenan is not a reliable lover. He set his mind to Donia but enjoy his relationship with his queen, Aislinn. Seth is not my number one fey in this series, but I also like him.
YESS!! THANK YOU! I agree completely with Camilla! I HATE SETH! I just want Ash to give Keenan a chance, but there goes Seth trying to be romantic and screwing everything up. I truly think that Ash and Keenan could work out, after all, destiny obviously wants them to be. And you can't screw around with destiny. Seth is just this stupid mortal(unfortunately now Fey) that needs to be incinerated or something. He should've stayed mortal and eventually died. What does he think he can accomplish now? Just because he's a faerie too doesn't mean he can be with the Summer Queen!

yeah about that like were is he mean to belong?? to the High Court, the Dark Court or the summer court??? he was changed by the High queen which makes him sorta belong there but he has the dark court protection and now he is living there until ash makes up her mind but then he was change actually "cursed" to be next to Ash in the summer court ..... soo that leaves me with a couple question marks in my mind "???"

"Seth belongs to the High Court, an heir to the Queen. It is true that the Dark court protect him, because Niall befriends him, not because he have anything to do with being the Dark court member. It is also true about him with Aislinn as the Summer queen, but left no details about him being Summer fey either. I hope there is a sequel to book 5, since something is still missing, or quoting yours, couple of question marks...
That's my point, so no matter what, (eve if he is Fey) he can't be with Ash. She's still the Summer Queen, and still Keenan's girl.
ugh... who cares? if you love someone... you can't deny that.... just beacuse she's suppose to be someone else doesn't mean she can't like/love someone else.... lol... sorry for saying someone else. too much. :P
Kate (Daughter of Zeus) wrote: "That's my point, so no matter what, (eve if he is Fey) he can't be with Ash. Love will remove all obstacles that coming.
i didn't like Seth for a while and I wanted Ash to be with Keenan but the ending turned out pretty well for everybody so by the end of the series i liked Seth. ;)
Seth AND Keenan got on my nerves! Seth is always doing something stupid to ruin everything! and Keenan is so annoying the way he pushes himself on ash.
hmmm i think i like seth more then keenan to. I still think they'er both annoying but seth was with ash before keenan came along. seth knows that he has to fight for ash and he's doing everything he can to make sure he can stay by her side.
Yep Tamara. Seth is way better than Keenan. Seth is loyal while Keenan wants both Ash and Donia. He loves Donia but he also does not want to let Ash go for Ash is his queen and his 'half'.But Irial and Niall are my best fey in the series. Dark fey are always enthralling. I used to love Devlin too, before he involved himself in an awful 'polygamy' plot.
ugh i think he is annoying he just kinda in the way! i think that seth should fall in love with beria and ash and keenan should be together

I truly think that Ash..."Obviously Keenan and Donia are star-crossed lovers meant to be together! I don't think Keenan and Aislinn belong together. Both of their hearts belong to someone else. Ash would be miserable without Seth and Keenan would only be her rebound, her "second choice". Keenan can really be a heartless douche bag sometimes (and who could blame him; he was, after all, literally raised by the ice queen). But despite that, he really loves Donia.
Seth was never just a stupid mortal, either. He's one of my favorite characters in this series....but, to each her own, I guess.
love seth!...i like his character in the series...they all have a very distinct character/purpose and that are interwoven into each other...the series had great ending but i wanted more...
I will tell you I don't like Seth much either. :)
all of you guys have different opinions and that's cool, i understand ur points of view, seth is the best for some, annoying to others (me), but either way he's still a main character, so he will be probably be there till the end ... while i was reading the comments every time i saw a "i agree with camilla, i also hate seth" i was like YES i'm not alone and every time i saw a "i actually like seth" i was like well, she's got a point but I STILL DONT LIKE SETH... and i guess i sort of know why. Before i read wicked lovely, i read a short teaser, and i was like "ohh sexy dangerous faeries, i like it" so i started reading the book and i was looking forward to see the faeries, so when i saw keenan chasing this human girl that wants nothing to do with him, i felt empathy for him, and i felt like seth didn't fit in the picture, but he wouldn't go away, then first book, second book, third book and he was still there, i tried to feel something for him, but i guess it was too late, my first impression of him impacted very strongly my way to see his character's point of view :/
erm... at first I was like OMG Keenan you are so AWESOME and Seth get your butt out of the picture! but then I saw that Keenan loved Donia and I changed and went all OMG Keenan you are so meant to be with Donia and Seth get your butt back IN the picture! So, while he is not my fave characyer in this series, he and Aislinn are good together.
I happen to agree with Georgia. Aislinn was and always will be in love with Seth no matter who enters the picture. Sure she felt undying attraction towards Keenan, But i believe she belongs with Seth. Where as Keenan belonged with Donia.
I like Keenan way more thn Seth. At first i liked Seth, but now he shows his true colors. Aislinn needs to fall in love with Keenan already.
After finishing the series, I stand by my original thought of liking Seth more. Keenan and Aislinn could work out sure, but him and Donia were "meant to be." I love what Seth does for the woman he loves.

Seth is way better than Keenan. I really don't like Keenan's attitude. Anyways, I didn't really like this series. I stopped reading it at the 3rd book. I found it really confusing how the author wrote the books and the idea of the stories.
for me,I like Keenan better than Seth in the first, but I really hate Keenan when he can not choose between Aislinn and Donia!

same with me, I also stopped reading it after the 3rd book series
Sadly, I'm one of those people who prefer Seth over Keenan. Sorry, but he's a bit of a player to me. Aside from that, Seth's been w/ Ash from the get-go. It just seems fitting to me that they be together. Especially with Keenan loving Donia and all.
I really would like for Keenan to be with Ash. They are meant to be together. Obviously? And whatever Seth will do Ash is still Keenan's Queen
I liked Keenan. I felt bad he had a horrible mom, couldn't be with the girl he loved and was doomed for years to seek out "his queen" and doom them if he's wrong.
I must say I'm definitely not a fan of Seth either. In the first book I was. I liked his "not your average guy" appeal you know with the whole lip piercing thing, but now I'm just like ugh. He just gets in the way anymore. He was better as a human ALL the time.
I'm doing a re-read of this series and I agree-- I do NOT understand Seth's appeal, at all!!I mean, seriously, what kind of dude has a belly piercing, for starters?
Marr really tried to pass him off as selfless and intelligent, but it failed majorly..
His reasons for perusing immortality were completely selfish.
He had only known Aislinn for a few short months and Niall for even for fewer than that, yet he believes Niall is his "brother" and BFF, even though his dark court opposes Ash's!?
One minute Niall is punching Keenan and threatening Ash-- the next Seth is casually chilling with Niall and asking him to make him a member of his court and give him immortality?? Seth couldn't care less about Niall attacking/hurting Keenan or possibly harming Ash or her court.. I mean.. He's known Niall for how freaking long??
When Ash was stabbed by Donia, instead of being a concerned and attentive bf and staying by poor Ash's bedside; he gets stupidly jealous over Keenan healing Aislinn and then storms off to have an immature temper tantrum over how Ash called Keenan for help first, instead of him?!
He then proceeds to spend the night getting drunk with an ex-girlfriend of his before up and leaving to Faery. While Ash is still suffering from a stab wound.
Wow.. what great boyfriend material Seth is:/
Also, when Seth returns after abandoning Ash to do his weird, creepy (Oedipus complex style) mummy clinging in Faery-- instead of apologising to poor Aislinn for randomly ditching her for months without even telling her where he was going, he gets angry at her for not immediately getting pissed at Keenan (for not revealing that Seth was in Faery the whole time.)
I find this hypocritical since nobody told Aislinn that Seth was in Faery, including his idiotic supposed "brother" Niall!!
It's also totally fine that Seth was a huge sleazy bed-hopper before he even met Ash.
So to criticise her for being compelled by Keenan when it's not even her fault.. massive douche-baggery in my opinion.
Seth is such an irritating character! >_<
