It was never a Summer court. Seth belongs to a different court.

lol i know at first i thought that maybe i wasn't getting the author's point of view, since you know when we read based on the author's point of view we can predict what may happen or who should be with who and who's the distraction but here melissa marr just throws off road everytime that something makes sense.... like ash and seth are meant to be together but they are not (i hate how ash keeps using the same "I love Seth" line as an excuse to refuse Keenan) she has this pull toward her king and partner, Keenan, duh ... but of course they are bound and meant to be together and seth is just in their way, he should just go ... and hug a tree and forget about fairieland lmao

It was never a Summer court. Seth belongs to a different court."
yeah about that like were is he mean to belong?? to the High Court, the Dark Court or the summer court??? he was changed by the High queen which makes him sorta belong there but he has the dark court protection and now he is living there until ash makes up her mind but then he was change actually "cursed" to be next to Ash in the summer court ..... soo that leaves me with a couple question marks in my mind "???"

Seth belongs to the High Court, an heir to the Queen. It is true that the Dark court protect him, because Niall befriends him, not because he have anything to do with being the Dark court member. It is also true about him with Aislinn as the Summer queen, but left no details about him being Summer fey either. I hope there is a sequel to book 5, since something is still missing, or quoting yours, couple of question marks...

lol... sorry for saying someone else. too much. :P

Actually, All of them are working the problem out. It's not only Aislinn and Seth, but Keenan and Donia. Love is like that. Love will remove all obstacles that coming.

But Irial and Niall are my best fey in the series. Dark fey are always enthralling. I used to love Devlin too, before he involved himself in an awful 'polygamy' plot.

Obviously Keenan and Donia are star-crossed lovers meant to be together! I don't think Keenan and Aislinn belong together. Both of their hearts belong to someone else. Ash would be miserable without Seth and Keenan would only be her rebound, her "second choice". Keenan can really be a heartless douche bag sometimes (and who could blame him; he was, after all, literally raised by the ice queen). But despite that, he really loves Donia.
Seth was never just a stupid mortal, either. He's one of my favorite characters in this series....but, to each her own, I guess.

I will tell you I don't like Seth much either. :)

I agree with you. Personally, I would pick Niall ;).

Anyways, I didn't really like this series. I stopped reading it at the 3rd book. I found it really confusing how the author wrote the books and the idea of the stories.

same with me, I also stopped reading it after the 3rd book series

I mean, seriously, what kind of dude has a belly piercing, for starters?
Marr really tried to pass him off as selfless and intelligent, but it failed majorly..
His reasons for perusing immortality were completely selfish.
He had only known Aislinn for a few short months and Niall for even for fewer than that, yet he believes Niall is his "brother" and BFF, even though his dark court opposes Ash's!?
One minute Niall is punching Keenan and threatening Ash-- the next Seth is casually chilling with Niall and asking him to make him a member of his court and give him immortality?? Seth couldn't care less about Niall attacking/hurting Keenan or possibly harming Ash or her court.. I mean.. He's known Niall for how freaking long??
When Ash was stabbed by Donia, instead of being a concerned and attentive bf and staying by poor Ash's bedside; he gets stupidly jealous over Keenan healing Aislinn and then storms off to have an immature temper tantrum over how Ash called Keenan for help first, instead of him?!
He then proceeds to spend the night getting drunk with an ex-girlfriend of his before up and leaving to Faery. While Ash is still suffering from a stab wound.
Wow.. what great boyfriend material Seth is:/
Also, when Seth returns after abandoning Ash to do his weird, creepy (Oedipus complex style) mummy clinging in Faery-- instead of apologising to poor Aislinn for randomly ditching her for months without even telling her where he was going, he gets angry at her for not immediately getting pissed at Keenan (for not revealing that Seth was in Faery the whole time.)
I find this hypocritical since nobody told Aislinn that Seth was in Faery, including his idiotic supposed "brother" Niall!!
It's also totally fine that Seth was a huge sleazy bed-hopper before he even met Ash.
So to criticise her for being compelled by Keenan when it's not even her fault.. massive douche-baggery in my opinion.
Seth is such an irritating character! >_<
