I agree with that. Julian was like a stalker and for a majority of the first two books, Jenny kept telling him to leave her alone. There were a lot of times where they both acted like jerks to her, though. Honestly, she's better off single than with either of those guys, regardless of how she feels about them.

Hands down, without a doubt Julian. It's so plain to see that he loved Jenny more. So much more. He literally would give her anything: "I'll be anything you like, give you anything you want. Do you like jewels? Emeralds to match your eyes? Diamonds?" He reached outspread fingers toward her throat, not quite touching. "What about clothes? A different outfit for every hour of the day, in colors you've never imagined. Pets? Have a marmoset, or a white tiger. Far-off places? You can lie in the sun at Cabo San Lucas or Côte d'Azur. Anything,Jenny. Just imagine." He cherished everything about her, worshiped her even. Julian treated Jenny like a queen, a goddess, a gift. He needed her.
Tom on the other hand treated Jenny, in my opinion, like any other girl. He did love her immensely, the way you'd love any girlfriend, but he would not be lost without her. Jenny felt she had to look a certain way to please Tom: ""Why don't you ever where shorter skirts Jenny-"Tom likes long skirts better".
Julian though accepted her as is.
Furthermore, I feel like Jenny did love Julian more than Tom. She though about the blue eyed beauty much more than she though about Tom. Although many times it was out of fear, she still thought of Julian more. Even when going to rescue her "boyfriend" at the amusement park, she though of Julian more often. Deep down, I honestly think she loved Julian. Why try to save someone from himself, when you know that there is no saving them, if not for love?

I really appreciate your well-thought out and unique perspective. It actually makes me want to re-read it with a more open mind.
