Looking for a mystery with a borzoi

I've been hunting for a mystery series I began about five years ago. The details I remember are: it took place in the UK, the sleuth was an aristocrat of some sort, and he had a borzoi dog.

I've googled to no avail! I'd love to find these books again. Does this ring any bells? Thanks guys!
