I am also reading for an assignment, Two years before the mast, which is actually quite good.

Does anyone know about the SECRET LIFE OF BEES soundtrack?? I want it.

Jackie - I hope you enjoy Twilight (I'd bet that you will)!

Reading Book of the Dead.
I know many people say that they like her books less than the previous ones because they are different. It made me postpone reading the new ones she is writing because I don't want to start not liking her books anymore. For now, I agree that they are different. I read an article about her, kind of interview and she also explained that she is changing and it will influence her writing too. Which is normal I think and it seems to have happened. But I still love it!!! I am really enjoying the book.

now I'm reading something more chearfull and easy
Lady of Light and Shadows. the second book on the tairen souls series.

now I do want to see everything and read everything of it!!

That was one of the rare 5-star books. I owe it to the Fall Challenge that I read it as a "frequently banned book."
Definitely something everyone should read.

Damn, Im gone from GR for two days and this thread had 123 posts..... geesh!
I am still reading EL&IC .. I read more than half before I had to go to work... when I work, I am too tired to read at nite... so hopefully I can finish it tomorrow. i really really like it.

I picked up Flowers for Algernon on a whim at the library yesterday. Glad to hear it got a good review (at least one). Sounds like my kinda book. Looking forward to it!

I am more loving Clare Hobbs than Cornelia Brown..

I'd love to talk about Flowers it when you get finished. A very moving and thought-provoking book.
