Its quite different from other Lansdale books ive read but im really liking it. Its a murder mystery story but gives an interesting portrayal of life during the depression, covering the attitudes of white people to blacks. Ive had it for a while and really glad i got round to it.

Touching story of a man who is murdered and wants to find his killer and a motive so he latches himself to a PI named Joe. the results so far are touching yet comical as Max tries to manage the ghost world while finding out why he was murdered.

I hope you like Dragon Tattoo better, it's one of my favorites. :)

I'm anxious to start this one Michael, I want to read it before seeing the movie.

I just finished reading that yesterday! It was the second time for me, but I still loved it just as much.

The Borrowers is just something for fun, but The Killer Angels is something I've been wanting to read for ages.

Oh Michael! I'm sorry you didn't like The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, I loved it!

I would1`nt say I hated the book but it was very overrated.

Oh disappointing Michael. Thanks for your comments.
Just started reading an arc of Temporary Yes... it's a book of poetry that will be publishing under Artistically Declined Press.
I am also still reading our Author/Reader Discussion novel Taft 2012: A Novel. Did you guys know that Jason, the author, is hanging with us till the end of the month?
And believe it or not, I am STILL listening to Couch on Iambik Audio on my phone?
I almost never read two things at once... look at me go!!!

I'm absolutely with you, Michael! It what I was telling to my friends about this book - not very bad, but overrated. And who would need all this details about Swedish politic and government structure?

Ive decided to mix it up. I have lots of books with small fonts that are super thick, so Ill read these smaller books ever other time to help my ADD ha
