I enjoyed the first three but I've had books 4 and 5 sitting on the shelf for years (probably as long as it's taken for book 6 to be published). This series is a real commitment of time and I've just not felt I was ready to read 4 and 5.

Joe Mossa | 23 comments donald ray pollock is the new 'faulkner'. read his KNOCKEMSTIFF and be spellbound. warning, this is intense reading but worth it. i can t remember when i have enjoyed stories more. i hope that doesn t make me as weird as one of the characters in his stories. i think at times we are all weird like them..that may be his theme. his novel is THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME. i intend to read it soon.

Scott | 257 comments I finished Hammerhead Ranch Motel yesterday. The Serge Storm series books are quick fun reads. This was the second in the series.

This morning I started Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. People have been telling me that this is where the series takes off.

Hey Jennifer, I didn't really like Simon and Derek at first especially Derek, wasn't sure if he was on Chloe's side. Simon seemed more friendly towards her and since they helped her at the end I'm getting to like them more

I thought Apartment 16 was pretty good. Just bought The Ritual by Adam Neville can't wait to get started on it

I didn't think Duma Key was very scary but I did think it was an excellent story.

Ioana I started yesterday Madame Tussaud: A Novel of the French Revolution, and I am enjoying it a lot. I am not sure how historically accurate it is, but it is a good read.

They get better! One of them is my absolute FAVORITE YA male crush. More than Jacob (twilight), more than Dimitri (va) and more than Peeta (hunger games). I love him almost as much as Barrons!

I loved both of those books...which, one is better, I couldn't tell you, but they are both on my "Favorite Books" shelf:) I second the fact of "What Writing"!! Outstanding!!! In fact, I'm going to try reading A Fine Balance next. Another book that I hear is just as superb as those two books. Did you ever read that? And, if you did, what did you think?
