Hi Susanna, the beginning is indeed slow but it changes later and you get two great stories which come together.

Susanna (jb_slasher) Hi Jeane! I'm hoping for the story to pick up soon. I'm getting a little tired of the slow exposition.

This one was good, but it can be slow at times. Another one where you think "Gee they coulda told that story with less pages!" but it does get better! Stick with it!! =)

message 24756: by Joy (new)

Joy Yesterday I hit the library and came out with a pretty good stack but I decided I would start with Safe Haven. I've not read a Sparks book for awhile, and needed something a bit light and easy. So far it seems pretty good!

I'm listening to The Wise Man's Fear, in the car, and i can say that Day 2 is as good as Day 1 was, at least to this point. God I love books.
