That's funny, the next book I'm planning to read is about a man who relates to Emma too much ;)

Just finished The Boelyn Inheritance which was great. I'm now starting on Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah. I can tell its going to be hard to put down.
I've been having trouble keeping focused on Marked. Possibly because I have a STACK of library books staring at me in the face, literally. So I picked up Looking for Alaska by John Green. Hoping it'll be a quick read because it's so short. So far..just "meh."
still working on Rebel Angels. it's ok, i still haven't decided how much i like this Gemma Doyle trilogy.i have a long weekend coming up, and i'll be busy, but hopefully i can squeeze some time in there to read a bit. i'm hoping to finish this one and move on to another book in my pile by Monday.

So glad you enjoyed The Girls, KarenLee. It is one of my favorites of all time.
Finished The Name of a Bullfighter by Luis Sepúlveda which was pretty good. It was a reread for the atwi80 challenge.I'm rereading Donna Leon's Brunetti series so I can put reviews in. It's been too long since I've read them. I'm up to Uniform Justice which is also pretty good. Leon rarely disappoint. This is gonna be my Italy book for the challenge.

Have you read the new Margaret Atwood book The Year of the Flood?
Claire wrote: "Just finished The Boelyn Inheritance which was great. I'm now starting on Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah. I can tell its going to be hard to put down."Ohhh I love Kristin Hannah!! I'm sure you'll need tissues!!
Maicie wrote: "Just started The Ten-Year Nap by Meg Wolitzer. Wonderful."I am hoping to get time to read this book this month. I have owned the book for two months now, but I have found it slips to the bottom of the TBR pile.
Stayed up all night to finish Shutter Island after I picked it up because I couldn't put it down.. sleep, who needs sleep anyway!Thinking of starting My Enemy's Cradle next

I know I said I was going to read My Enemy's Cradle next, but instead I started No Time to Wave Goodbye A Novel. Needed a kleenex by page 62.

Claire wrote: "Just finished The Boelyn Inheritance which was great. I'm now starting on Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah. I can tell its going to be hard to put down."Just finished that one. It was great!
I just started on Crown Duel...really into it so far!
Thanks for the positive comments! I'm looking forward to it even more :) Hadn't seen much of it until people started mentioning it here, so good to hear some positive reviews!

I loved that book also. I went into it with zero expectations and I feel it was one of the best books I've read.
I'm getting started on The Girl Who Played With Fire. I'm glad to be reading about Salander again, but sometimes the details drive me crazy. I do NOT need to know the exact name of each piece of furniture she bought from IKEA.

I'm actually really enjoying because I worked a couple years with autistic children. So it really reminds me of my old kiddies.
Not sure how I find the time to read, but I've been getting through more books lately than usual. After crying my way through Marley and Me, I took an emotional break with The Hunger Games. Both were great in their own ways. I just finished Same Kind of Different As Me and absolutely adored it...cried my way through that one too. Now I'm on It sucked and then I Cried, which is very funny and light....enjoying it so far.

Yeah I was going to say...I Am Legend was definitely a vampire book. But I will definitely look into Cell and World War Z.
I just finished Last Night in Twisted River A Novel by John Irving, who continues to amaze me. I gave this book 5 stars and off it went onto my favorites list. And is it wrong that I think Irving is... um, sexy??? I've decided that 2010 will be my "Year of Irving and Dickens".Right now I'm reading The End of the Affair by Graham Greene, and will start The Cider House Rules by Irving tonight.

Cait, that is great news. I have LSiTR, and it will be my first Irving. (I have two others, but am looking forward to this one right now!)
I've just started Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner and am about halfway through City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare.
Finished The Colour of Heaven - James Runcie. Now I am gonna read Poor Little Bitch Girl - Jackie Collins.
I am about halfway through Suite Francaise and am somewhat disappointed....it has gotten such good reviews on GR.....I wanted it to be a "could not put it down" book but instead I did put it down long enough to read Heart Shaped Box (very enjoyable).

I am almost finished with Unwind by Neal Shusterman! This book is amazing...slightly creepy, and sick. I'm wowed. My friends who read it before me gave me a spoiler and I should have never let them do it! Now I'm hanging off the edge waiting for what they mentioned to happen! The suspense is killing me....
