i knowwww! I cant wait...ARGGHH! I really should pree order it.
Don't pre-order from Barnes & Noble. It has been two months since the realease date of a book I pre-ordered and it is still not here. :( Just a thought..
Hey sorry. It's called INHERITANCE. It has an awesome green dragon on it. :) Kimiko posted a link above.
The author should've stopped at Eragon, sat in a puddle and rethought his life. I don't mean to be harsh but that was the only good book of the series. Eldest was WAY too long and I could've summed up Brisingr in 200 pages less than he did

sorry. my opinion. I mean really did you read eldest and brisingr?! Eldest was the most boring book EVER and i could've written brisingr with 200 less pages and had more people enjoy it
Eldest was not that bad it was great but not that bad but i think the fourth going to be the best yet

I didn't mind the length. IDK I don't really care either which way. But editing, if he has been writing ALL THIS TIME, is definetly in order.
when the fourth book comes out I'm gonna do what I did with the 3rd book...go to wikipedia to figure out what I forgot and speed read it pausing at dialogue/fight scenes/ interesting scenes

Im just going to reread Brisingr. Ive read Eragon atlest 6 times and Eldest 3. :P And Brisingr 3 times.

I have all three books and I skipped Eldest so I can read Brisingr.

some important things happen in that one... like the dragon ceremony or whatever it's called. That was probably the most important part of that stupid book

Ive had several theories on this. Arya is going to become a dragon rider. The male dragon (the last remaining egg) will hatch for her at some point in the book. Whats his face, Jode. Will find another secret passage. (god. people stop with all the secret passages) and they will be able to infiltrate the black fortress. In the dream in the first book. Eragon is boarding a elvin ship, with two dragons flying over head. and some man breaks down when the two people board. (the man who stays behind is Rorhan. The vault of souls is a secret batch of heart of hearts. Of a unknown location and quantity.I hate to say it, but Orak will probably die. Along with either #1 lady naswada. #2 katrina.
And Rorhan will probably end of killing gualbatorix. And Eragon will end up killing mertag. Either that or Arya will kill him.

I can't wait for the next (and last) book! I already pre-ordered it a while ago from amazon.
