Hi Karen, I haven't at this point since I hadn't thought of that. Perhaps, adding a review policy would be good. Generally, the group has been choosing their own books to read & review.
I'm sure I could consider this. I do feel quite busy though at this time in my life so I may have to wait until the semester ends to fit it in.
Thank for giving me an option and an idea!
Glad I could stir things up! :-) I hope you'll let us know if/when you do add this option.Julie wrote: "Hi Karen,

Hi, Meg. Nice start on your blog. Always nice to see a new indie reviewer. I'm more of a humorous sci-fi/epic adventure writer (no romance) so my stuff probably wouldn't be to your taste. I've been thinking about starting my own site for reviews of that kind of stuff. It will have to wait though. Right now my own novels take most of my time.

FYI there is a link on my blog from 13 June 2011 that explains about adding blog lists to a blog reader. It's really good one from one of my friends that has helped me get going.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned Bryan Dennis's Indie Snippets blog on this thread. Okay, so I am too lazy to read through 465 posts, I'm human not a BOT. Anyway, Bryan has included my book In The Shadow of Mountains: The Return of the Sixpack in today's edition of the blog. Hopefully In the Shadow of Mountains: The Lost Girls may also appear shortly. Both books are available in Kindle and as trade paperbacks on Amazon and elsewhere.
Oh, and my website is at Booksandstories.com.

I just began posting book reviews on it as well but I'm not sure I'll continue. Somehow it seems inappropriate for one writer to comment on the work of another, especially, as was just the case, the comments have to be less than glowing.
My shared writing blog is http://writetype.blogspot.comAnd my blog on white-collar crimes issues is at http://tinyurl.com/dbe5rp
