Jan Hurst-Nicholson (janhurst-nicholson) | 13 comments I'm quite excited to have added a tweet button to my website - and without help from my neighbour's son :)

I have a book per page, so was wondering if it's possible to have a separate tweet button for each book page. Don't want to experiment and then mess things up. Does anyone know if you can do that?

message 473: by Libbie Hawker (new)

Libbie Hawker (L.M. Ironside) (lmironside) | 40 comments I am keeping a blog of my experiences with self-publishing one of my novels. My goal is to freely share honest information and opinions with other authors who are trying to decide whether to self-publish, and to help manage their expectations and give them a realistic idea of what self-publishing will be like. I would love to see more indie authors following the blog and sharing their experiences, too, whether they agree or disagree with mine!

message 478: by Karen Fowler (new)

Karen Fowler | 4 comments Hi fellow Indies! I have a site where I talk about writing, being an Indie, post book reviews and spotlight fellow authors. I'm actively looking for guest posts, book features and limited books to review (my TBR pile is huge right now!) For book features I do request that a book have at least 7 reviews on Amazon and have a minimum 4 stars average (might be willing to make an exception for strong 3 1/2-ers)

My website is http://www.quirkygurl.com

Also I'm looking to revive a feature I call Three Ways Thursdays so if anyone is interested have a look at past features and contact me :-)

Thanks!

Libbie Hawker (L.M. Ironside) (lmironside) | 40 comments Hey, guys...people have been responding well to the information I've been sharing on my blog about using social networking the smart way to promote your book. I have some very interesting numbers to share in an upcoming post, too, about what happened when I was gone for a weekend and couldn't do my usual hour a day of social networking! It was pretty revealing!

If you're not already following my blog, please consider it. I am keeping this blog not to benefit myself but to help out other self-published authors and to give those considering whether to self-publish a realistic idea of what is actually involved in finding success with self-pub.

Thanks!

D.L. Morrese (dl_morrese) | 16 comments I've been chronicling My Self Publishing Adventure on my blog. http://dlmorrese.wordpress.com/my-sel.... Some of what is here may be of help to others, at least as a warning not to make the same mistakes. I also blog about reading, writing, and other things that momentarily excite, annoy or distract me. I recently started posting the reviews I do for books I've just read as well if I give them 4 or 5 stars.

Shannon Muir (shannonmuir) | 2 comments My blog is SHANNON MUIR'S ANIMATED INSIGHTS: THE BLOG. it is called that because I do have a site called SHANNON MUIR'S ANIMATED INSIGHTS, separate from my main author writing site, that gears for animation writers and non-artists... I'm having to do some transitional moves in my branding to move towards SHANNON MUIR'S ANIMATED INSIGHTS defining a larger definition. The link is http://shannonmuir.wordpress.com. Right now my updates are Mondays to take advantage of #MentionMonday on Twitter and as appropriate I've experimented with #SampleSunday (though I know that wasn't a trend the IBC started).

I originally introduced myself to this area of the boards in April, but my situation at the time didn't make it easy to interact. Since TOUCH THE STARS, which is mentioned there, I have put out two ebooks that have also been featured in IBC promotions. SEARCH FOR A WOMAN, a 99 cent value anthology, premiered during the Labor Day blowout. My most recent book, THE HEART'S DUTY, appeared in the Veterans' Day BLOG TOUR DE TROOPS. I use my Monday blogs to discuss my firsthand experiences in events such as these, in addition to other reflective observations on writing and reading.
