Why must the directors change a movie from the book, to make the movie just seem dumb?

aww. so sweet. however i do believe it would be dismal company, :):) seaweed brain. I always cringe when he tries to come up with a nickname for her and he settles for "brainy or smart girl" :) its so embarrassing!
yup thats it. it just doesn't have the same umph that seaweed brain does... at first i thought it was lame but then i grew to like it because shes so mean to him in a very friendly way. make sense? :)

they should have left annabeth out as a love intrest in the movie...the book portrays them more as friends but THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I think romance in these types of books with the main characters almost always ruins things. I really hate it. Like Jason would be way less cool if he had a girlfriend. (no offense whatsoever to anybody who's with someone) Just saying like it would totally change thier character.

It is just the Doctor. The T.V. show? Have you EVER heard of it? It's on BBC or BBC America or Netflix.. The sixth season has just and still is (episodes) coming out.
um heard? yes. watched? no. considered? yes.sorta.maybe
PUHLEASE WATCH IT! It is HILARIOUS! The first season is kinda...um, weird. But once you hit the 2nd season...BAM. It gets goin'!
IT WAS TOTALLY HORRIBLE! IT was soooo far off from the book!
