I added Katie W Stewart to my list of friends because a) I like Australians and b) she plays the celtic harp. Now, in the Goodreads Update, sent to me from Booklovers HQ, there's a list of books Katie rated, and I find myself in very large agreement, or saying "I woudn't give that rubbish three stars; try two." Katie W is never too far off my best memory of any book.

A mutual pleasure in the celtic harp is a powerful predicator, I tell you.

If you want your memory jogged about some favourite and not so favourite books, Katie's is a list worth looking at:

Katie Stewart (katiewstewart) | 1099 comments Andre, this is a lovely surprise! Thank you. I should add that I don't play the celtic harp very well, having only had it for a year, but I do love it and it takes me away from my writing far too much. I'm happy to meet someone with such good taste. ;)

Now, being new here, I really should go and introduce myself somewhere. My sense of direction is hopeless...which door did I come in?

Oh, and well met, Perthsider.

Katie Stewart (katiewstewart) | 1099 comments Thanks, Andre, I found it (I think).
Not quite a Perthsider - out in the country, east of Perth.

I have a friend that lives in Perth. She moved over your side about 2 years ago, first living in Tom Price I think the place is called? Some godforsaken mining town she called it. Welcome!

Katie Stewart (katiewstewart) | 1099 comments I think I'd describe Mt Tom Price as godforsaken, too! Thanks for the welcome.
