First you have to round the numerator and the denominator to the nearest hundreth/tenth/thousanth/etc. and estimate how many times the numerator goes into the denominator (call that number a) then take the real numerator and multiply it by your "a" adjust the number so if you add one more a to it, it will go over the denominator. Write- aww man I am a fail at this. Somebody take over. At least I tried right?

Okay so first things first:

you have your dividend and the divisor

for example: The divisor is the number you use to divde(25) the other number and the dividend is the number you going to divide.

To start you look at the first number of the dividend (4) we want to divide 4 by 25. How many times does four go into 25? 0 times
