Yes, we read it in January 2013. There should be a discussion post for it. I'm not sure if there was much discussion on it, if there is an interest, maybe we can do a reread?

So, would you like to read this one for February. If I remember correctly, it is not long or hard at all.

Sorento62 | 71 comments Right, Little Bear is for young kids, so it is short. Charming and warm. Little Bear's mother is very loving.

I'm good with this one. I shall have to find this in the bookshelf and read it to my younger kids.

message 108: by Hilary (new)

Hilary (agapoyesoun) I don't know if this is the same Little Bear I read to my children when they were small. That book came accompanied by an actual, well when I say 'actual' I mean stuffed, little bear. I've no idea where it is though. I probably enjoyed it more than the children. :)

It is time to pick a new read or two for the children's read! Does anyone have a nominations?

Sorento62 | 71 comments The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Chronicles of Narnia, #1) by C.S. Lewis
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

message 111: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne I'll nominate Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie. (But The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is definitely a good book to read.)

I like both of those choices and it is hard to believe that we have not read either of them yet.
