Joanie, if you haven't already done the movie task and you enjoyed Clockwork Orange, you should see the movie (even if you have already done the task.) I havne't seen it in a long time--I did my senior research paper on it in high school quite a while ago, but I remember it being very powerful.

Joanie ~ I absolutely loved Gift From the Sea! It will stay in my perm collection to be read every few years. I cannot believe it was written in the 50's but is so relevant to our lives as women today.
Way to go Karen...taking the lead like that.Cynthia...I was wondering if a T.V. Show would count as a movie. I am Reading Robinson Crusoe, and they havea T.V. show based on the book. I was wondering if I watched that if it would count.
If you watch two episodes ok - generally movies are about two hours so that would be equivalent.

I read a book by an Asian-American (Peony in Love, by Lisa See), and my new total is 155 points.
I just realized I counted Wizard's Hall for "Read a book with any of the following in the title - VAMPIRE, ZOMBIE, WEREWOLF, DEVIL, GHOST, GOBLIN, WITCH, OR FRANKENSTEIN." I must have seen witch and just assumed wizard was there, too. I guess it won't count then, huh?
Since we have witch I'll count wizard as acceptable for that challenge.
