I've read the second one. Freebie from some website or other. Not read the first.
Can I rant a bit before I give a clear answer? :)
I don't like titles where the number of the book is in brackets. Give me the name. That is all I need.
The first one's naming of the chronicles leaves me tongue tied. The second one, not so much. These titles get longer and longer. Keep it simple.
