So the comment Cersei made early in the show when talking to Cat. Was that canon? If yes, where was it in the books? I don't recall reading that before...

Brad? ;)Also, I wrote on Twitter, but figure I'll write it here. There have been two scenes so far that are not done like they were in the books. One didn't actually happen until A Clash of Kings. The other was much more powerful in the book, I think it revealed a lot more about the characters in the book.
Also, I always thought Gendry was younger. Like 13 or 14.
