It looks like it's connected to Unexpected Mr. Right. But neither booksfree or my library has that. And I'm not goign to buy it for this. I'll look for another Kaylee book that I can get free.

I can getMy Soul to Take from the library if I don't come across it by accident. I think my daughter might like that anyway and we can read it together.or: Unleashed
I don't think Kaylea is the same as Kaylee. The first one (to me) is K-lee-ah and the 2nd is K-lee. That's how I take them anyway.
OK I have another question. I am listening to First Truth by Dawn Cook. I was using it for Alyssa and it turns out her father's name is what I though would be Mason. That's how it's pronounced by the narrator. But I looked it up on Amazon using the search function-to see if he'd be in the book enough (he is). But it's spelled Meson. Which appears to me made up for the book. It's not on the pronounciation sites. I googled it and didn't come up with anything showing it as a first name. So can I count it for Mason since that's how it's being pronounced?
(so far it's an excellent audiobook BTW if anyone likes straight fantasy)
Check the pronounce names site. ...I would have said they both could be pronounced the same... Kaylea might be K-lee or K-lee-ah
Well. The 2nd site listed shows Kaylea it as Kai-Lee or Kay-lee. Not how I would pronounce but I'm gonna use it since I have Baby I'm Yours. I ruled it out because to me they aren't the same. But what do I know? What about Meson for Mason since she's pronouncing it as Mason in the audiobook?
My take is that if it's pronounced Mason in the audiobook, then it's Mason. After all, the narrator would have checked with the author about how pronounce the names. (At least, I think.)
I just finished reading the Golden Eyes by Maya Banks. I just realized the Kindle doesn't have a page count for this book. Can a GR librarian let me know the page count. I think someone mentioned reading both Golden Eyes and Amber Eyes together to count the names....I am not sure??
the print combo for the both of them is 272, so roughly half for each book would make it 136...so you'd have to read them both to get the pages to count
I think I've probably missed some names. I just re-noticed that Carly was on the list. And I though-I've had that name recently! I figured out that it was in At HOme At Stone Creek (one of the kids-big enough part to use). And now I feel like I've had a Claire recently as well but I can't remember where.
LOL! Poor Lisa Kay!The name of that book had Evan Delaney 3 times in the title! I edited so it only had it once. :)
I also added the name of the narrator. :)
The other day I was looking for an audiobook narrated by Joyce Bean (I know I enjoy her narrations) and as soon as I saw she had narrated a book with a heroine named 'Kendall', I checked the ratings to see if it was any good! The ratings were decent (3.77) so that's what I'm listening now. So far, I have two names. :)
Thanks, D.G.! I haven't read a Sandra Brown book in years. And my library has it on audio, yeah! Marked it TBR.
I'll keep that in mind for Kendall. Although I think I might have one already. I was looking at my reminder list books today on PBS. I noticed that the heroine of Greywalker is named Harper. But I was going to wait to start another Urban Fantasy series until I finish/catch up one of the others I have going. But I also don't feel like relistening to a Harper Connely book by Charlaine Harris. That was my least favorite series of hers. But I have 2 of them downloaded.
I'll probably wait to decide.
There weren't any Harper Connely short stories in an anthology were there? I've only seen Southern Vampire related ones.
After I posted that, I was looking at some library books I had and remembered that I had gotten My One and Only. I don't know if I'll get around to reading it though. I just started Lover Revealed and that might put me on a BDB kick.
Figures: the only name I'm going to get out of Lover Revealed is Bella. I already have John and Joseph.

Hate to be a wet blanket Hina, but you need to read a minimum of three novellas to qualify for the series rule... Is this a third book in this series?
Can a couple of novellas in a series be combined to meet the page count - with a total of four names allowed to be marked off from the two books?
You must read a minumum of 3 novellas in that author's series with a maximum of 4 names allowed for check off for the total series read. The total of the (minimum 3) novellas MUST exceed 150 pages. (Logically, they should hit around 300 pages...)

I'll accept that.

Jane, wouldn't Golden Eyes and Amber Eyes be an exception to the novella rule since they were published in a single volume, Wild and that book is over 150 pages?
Jane, wouldn't Golden Eyes and Amber Eyes be an exception to the novella rule since they were published in a single volume, Wild and that book is over 150 pages?"That was the ruling Jane gave to me (sorry - Jane can't remember the message number) I had previously purchased both novellas separately but got a ruling prior to using them because they had been published in one book.

Nichole wrote: "Is it to late to join this challenge?"Nichole, I think you can join anytime. It end October 31, 2011.
Can't she Jane?
Nichole wrote: "Is it to late to join this challenge?"No - never too late Nicole! :)
The end date remains the same (31 October), but you can go back through your books that you have started and read since 1 May and count them towards names 'marked' off. Hope you enjoy this challenge.

Whoops. Sorry. It's actually Kaylee. Thank you for pointing that out!

Well she said we can interchange them now: Kaylee/Kaylea. I looked it up and they were both listed as being pronounced either Ky-lee or Kay-lee. (although I have to say I really like Kay-lee-ah. It's pretty). I was planning on using Wild for Aaliyah. I have the bound version with both stories in it and it's over 150 pgs.
Another question:I am currently reading Room Service/Shadow Hawk by Jill Shalvis. In the first book, the heroine's full name is Emmaline, and throughout the story she is referred as Em. Emma was only mentioned once. Can that be used for Emma or it doesn't qualify?
Hina wrote: "Just double checking Jane:If I have read both Golden Eyes & Amber Eyes. They can count as a book."
Yep - 'cos they were published together as a book...

Yes - I'll allow that one. Not ideal, but 'Emma' has been used and the character is clearly well-known.
Hey Jane!Not another question.
Just wanted to take a second and tell you how much we all appreciate you taking on this challenge! Thank you.
Now that I've buttered you up, let me ask you about .... JK. LOL.
I think Witness was one of the first Sandra Brown books I readD.G. ~Vile Temptress~ wrote: "I finished The Witness. Sort of a crazy ass book! But it got me in the mood for romantic suspense."
Woohoo! I thought I was going to have to remove Aaron from my names used list. He seemed to disappear in the book I'm reading at work. But he came back.
I was just browsing my PBS reminder list to fill in some WL spots and came across a couple of historicals with names: Alexander: A Marquis to Marry
Ariana & Lucas: Earl to Enchant
I really liked the 1st book: A Duke to Die For but no obvious names from the book description.
Romantic Suspense seems to be great genre to find names from the list. I found another Sandra Brown with an Avery and a Jayne Ann Krentz with a Zoe.

And I'm finding a fair amount in YA, too.
